http://www.latimes.com/travel/california/la-trb-las-vegas-caesars-resort-fees-20160229-story.html Its bullshit. They add tax to that too and charge you more taxes, so when you book a room for $150 it ends up being $200/night.
Or you could play Myvegas, get a room at the Mirage for free, then slip $20 to the check in clerk and get upgraded to a suite.
Just for round-trip airfare for wifey and I it's like $1100 to Hawaii. We spend just a little more than that for an entire week in Vegas including everything. But we don't stay in the more expensive hotels. I wasn't a huge fan of the wynn.
I get emails from the California in Vegas. That's the casino that Hawaiians go to for some reason, they have some great rates flying Hawaii to Vegas, thinking about asking if we can get that rate flying the reverse. Fly to Vegas, spent a couple of days, then fly to Hawaii for a week, then fly back to Vegas, stay a couple of more days, then fly home for cheaper than it would be to fly from PDX to Hawaii and back.
They have two dope restaurants, the upstairs one has dope Saimin bowls which is a noodle soup. Downstairs its the oxtail dish thats the dope shit.
