One guy is actively causing losses... the other guy is actively raiding the team buffet.

Made it respectable but at halftime I felt like that guy in Platoon, I've got a bad feelin about this one Sarge! Lillard is growing into a superstar before our very eyes, take comfort in that if nothing else I say

Mo is a veteran. Leonard is a kid. How good was Fropez at Leonard's age and experience level? Or Przybilla? Or Freeland? Or Asik for that matter. Meyers may never make it, but he deserves time.

I just don't like him at all. I don't like the way he plays scared.

Meyers is what? 21? I still think he's a power forward in a centers body though. Until he plays 20 minutes in a game I don't think anyone can gauge what he can do and that probably means we won't know until next season.

If CJ pans out, you'll be glad to have Mo on the bench to plug in when needed. Mo has made some big plays to help this team win games, he's always been a streaky player but he's also a game changer at times. I'm not a huge fan of Mo and Dame together on the court. Mo plays better with Wes at the 2. If CJ is Wesleys reserve and Mo is Damian's..it makes more sense to me. Leonard plays better with TRob than with LaMarcus ..just chemistry.

I was dissapointed Leonard took 0 shots. I can handle Lopez 0 shots tonight, or Freelands 0 shots last night. They contribute a ton in other areas. But Leonard has great offensive skills, that the one solid skill he has. Outside of that skill he's not an NBA player. We were starving for points in that first half and the only reason to have Leonard on the court is to help our offense.

I like the idea of having Leonard play in place of LaMarcus. He can shoot long jumpers which I cringe at when TRob jacks them up. Tonight LaMarcus couldn't hit the ocean, it was a missed opportunity for Leonard to make an impact.

One thing I would like to see is to flash some strategic double teams and pack the paint. I like in theory how we rarely double to prevent role players from getting quality looks. But when the other team is having a layup fest we need to put a stop to it even if we give up some open threes. They had 52 points in the paint at the half! I noticed the same thing in the Toronto game. I'm surprised we don't play a zone either, it would be a good change of pace for just 3 or so minutes when a game like this happens. I'll be curious if Stotts makes any adjustments to this throughout the season.

But overall I'm glad the team gave it their all until the end. A lot of effort. You could see Minnesota lose their composure and force bad shots in the 3rd quarter. But we always play our game, even when struggling. Tonight the team was tired and they team couldn't make shots in the first half. It happens, you only need to win 4 of 7 games to get the title. Encouraging loss and I'll take a 3-1 road trip every time.

Hey look if people thought we were deep enough before this game maybe they should rethink it. Facing two bigs like that is not a common occurrence anymore but wow Love and Pekovic destroyed us tonight.

How did Drummond, smith and Monroe fair? Let's talk about Dwight and co? Oh did you forget to mention minny was well rested and scouted us for 5 games? Maybe you forgot to mention that this was our 4th game in 5 days?

Let's revisit this when the Blazers host minny when we are rested the next game.

Smith had his way with the team and well lets face it most nights Drummond is an opportunity scorer not an offensive threat also took a game winner in overtime to beat them. Howard likewise is not really a focal point in Houston attack and yet we have already lost to them. Most nights the team will be fine but the addition of a legit big off the bench could only help. Someone like Hansborough would be a nice addition.
