And how do people think his cousin got all the money to build all of those dog pits and barracks to fight the dogs in?

Vick is going to be locked up for a while, especially if he was actively involved in this sh*t. If Goodell doesn't do anything in the next few days, I'd be surprised. This is ridiculous.
The max amount of prison time he can get is 6 years, I hope he gets them all. Even though this sort of thing is deserving of much more then that.
Nothing is proven yet, yall can bring up my posts once hes in jail but until then hes innocent. What do these testifiers stand to make by ''accusing vick?''. I never trust a word spoken by a snitch.

Above all else, expect a very difficult legal battle. The U.S. government rarely loses cases. Vick is F*cked, sorry.
Im not going to prove anyone guilty without evidence...but I would be all my money that Vick will be found guilty. We don't know if Vick was directly involved - as in, buying the dogs, and physically putting them to fight, but we do know he sponsored and funded this whole circus of dog fighting. If you fund and sponsor something, are you not responsible?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (The`Dream @ Jul 18 2007, 09:49 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Even if everyone looks the way it is, lets not make this a second Duke lax case..</div>Duke was different in that it was clear from the start that the Duke players weren't really guilty. The whole case was a travesty. On the other hand, Vick is pretty much at the very least guilty of extreme negligence. I can't imagine how there could possibly be a dog fighting center on your property without your knowledge.
This is nothing like the Duke case, the Duke case was all based on what some stupid whore made up and the Liberal media hanging those players out to dry.
Like many have said today, Goodell is going to be accused of discrimination if he allows Vick to return to the field and continue playing. People are going to look at him and wonder why he suspended a CB, WR and DT all for 8-16 games but yet a star QB doesn't even get jail time. IMO, if Vick was present at the dog fights, then it's his responsibility especially if it's going on at his house. Plus, there's proof that they shot, electrocuted, drowned and strangled dogs after fights. The dug up numerous dog bodies, so basically they never had a chance so why should Vick? I say if you give him a year or two off, he'll either come back as a better man that's ready to win a Super Bowl, or he's going to be the same guy that he is now and he'll be banned for life. This is just unsportsmanlike, and that's not what the NFL is about.
"You can't change stupid." Michael Vick is just stupid. He's never going to change the way he is, people that know him, and the posse he hangs out with don't listen to anything people tell them, it's like Vick lives in his own little world.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Another league source I talked to had a slightly different take. He too watched Vick up close for years and came to this conclusion:"I've seen what he's truly about, and now, the rest of the world sees what he's truly about,'' the source said. "He's not dumb, and he's not a bad guy. He's just selfish. He's an extremely selfish human being. He doesn't care about his team or his teammates. He says he does, but he doesn't.''</div> - SI.com
You know what, I am really f*cking tired of people pulling the god damn race card. I don't give a flying F*ck if your black or not. If you f*cking bet on dogs fighting eachother to the death, and hey I am a big dog lover, I have no room in my heart to feel any god damn sympathy for his f*cking ass. I hope he gets suspended from the NFL for life. f*cking piece of sh*t.
If anybody really does not think Michael Vick is guilty, then they are a f*cking naive dumbass. Read the f*cking 19 page indictment and you'll see that there is TONS of evidence linking him to this entire thing... not financially, but PERSONALLY. HE WAS THERE WHEN ALL THIS HAPPENED. He was there when the dogs were shot, hung, drowned, raped, fighting, etc. There are FOUR witnesses lined up already, and you can bet there will be tons more. I know all that sh*t about being innocent until proven guilty, but at this point that is just a formality. I read the indictment, and that sh*t is absolutely brutal, disgusting, and despicable for a human being to not only sponsor, but condone and participate in. This ***hole is going to jail... and since it's a conspiracy charge, anything that his three co-defendants get jail time for... HE WILL GET JAIL TIME FOR. He's not going to play another NFL game in his career. He will be suspended for the season (he has to be, or their policy is complete bullsh**), and his trial will begin after about six months. WHEN (not if) he is convicted, the judge will lock his ass up for a loooong time. This bi*ch is the scum of the earth. f*cking shoot that bi*ch in the head and see how he likes it. I hope he gets ass-raped in jail.
"The Associated Press reported that after consulting with the Falcons, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and top league officials agreed Wednesday to let Vick play as the legal process determines the facts."http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2941739Pitiful...
Well said BigMo.. well saidI will be so happy when he is suspended, charged, then locked up for a long time.. piece of living sh*t
He will be locked up for at least, a minimum of 2 years. The fact that the feds brought on this indictment as fast as they did, and the fact that they get a conviction on 95% of their indictments, they have Vick nailed. But Goodell not suspending Vick for at least some games is pathetic.
