I bet Manning will win the SB before Vick. There is something very dangerous about a smart pocket passer who avoids turnovers. Yeah, it's nice to have a guy that can run, and avoid pressure, but until one of them can step up and prove that they are valuble... I'll stick with a smart pocket passer any day. One of the things that Culpepper has improved on is running less. He is thinking pass first, and he only runs at the last second, unlike the first couple of years where he crossed the line a lot.
Congrats Rube! Yeah, Culpepper should only run when he has to. After all, every Viking fan knows that he has really small hands.
Good pocket presence and quick feet can make up for a lot. If Roethlisberger can pick up the speed of the game, he will be a great, not good, quarterback in the future. He doesn't need to run like Michael Vick to be great, he needs to throw like Peyton Manning and have more mobility then Manning or Bledsoe. Something like Elway, but maybe not quite that mobile?
