The Demo is almost completely different from the game. The Demo ran the game at almost Warp Speed which made for some fun, but the finished product seems more slowed down and more of a simulation.

But to answer the question... YES YES YES its sooooooooo much better than 12 with the smarter runs your teammates make off the ball. No more "only straight lines" so through balls can be a much deadlier weapon. I dont feel like I'm playing with a bunch of idiots now.

The new first touch thing makes it a lot better IMO as well. It happens just enough that you are jumping up and down in excitement with a first touch that was too heavy and is the difference from 3 points or 1 (The Gervinho Effect) ... but it doesnt happen so often that its annoying.

This year's game is much better IMO

Anyone picking up NBA 2k13 or Resident Evil 6 today? 2k13 doesn't seem to come out on Steam for another 2 weeks, so i guess i'm waiting, and RE6 has been getting shredded in reviews, i will wait for a price drop for that.

I'll be getting 2k13, probably for PS3, maybe PC. PC is half the price but the patches always come last and they never fix everything on PC.

The only reason i am getting it this year is for the half price of the PC version. It sucks that they don't give a crap about the PC version though.

I didn't play it online last year, but a lot of people said it was completely broken.

I got the PS3 version. It's fun to play with the 90-91 Blazers. Kevin Duckworth even has a Duck hook in the game! Freeland, Claver and Barton aren't in the game yet. Morrison isn't in the game either.

You can always change the ratings. I would rather do that then buy sub par game. 2K is by far the better game.

    I was kidding LOL.

I agree that NBA2k is a superior game. I don't care for arcady sports games like NBA Live. I've heard criticism of 2k's ratings too, but the game is a much better sim than Live has ever been. I think it is hilarious that EA skipped a season of Live because their game engine was shit.

Lol Live is so good they canceled it again this year.

Has anyone played Sleeping Dogs? It's a Hong Kong version of GTA, lots of fun.

    LOL! NBA Dead 13

Sleeping dogs sounds sweet. I've never really played gta, but a Hong Kong setting is intriguing.

sleeping dogs is pretty fun, imagine GTA with much better hand to hand fighting, and the environments arent always static

Sounds like the new Medal of Honor sucks balls, what a shocker. Aren't people getting tired of the dudebro military shooters yet? I say that even though i plan on buying the new COD eventually.

XCOM is a lot of hype, IMHO. Pretty fun for the first few hours, then it gets repetitive quick. Repetitive. Quick. Repetitive.
