Channing had an absolutely great rookie season under Larry Brown and had many people talking about him being one of the next great young players in the league.

Channing just strikes me as a player who has to be in the game for longer stretches than 5 minutes at a time; being an off-the-bench hustle guy is a different kind mentality than Channing possesses. I wouldn't be shocked to see him get picked up by Charlotte this off-season and have a career renaissance ... he's certainly good enough to beat out Sean May for backup power forward minutes.
