<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AznxBaller:</div><div class="quote_post">Does anyone else think its pretty sad his career high is fifty one points?</div> Kevin Garnetts high is 47. And before that it was 40 for a long time. I was surprised by that. I guess you could think of that as like Tony Delk having 52 points and he's not even a starter. Still though 50 points is impressive by anyone.
once VC gets into a zone like he was in last night there is no defender that can stop him not Bowen Artest or Prince unless Bowen wants to try and injure him again.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Bowen wants to try and injure him again.</div> Yea and when Carter ran after him all mad, Bowen started yelling to the refs "What did I do?" What and idiot.
Career highs really dont mean that much like mentioned b4 Ton Delk had 53 points and he sucks and besides that I like the fact that Vince is attacking the basket and getting free throws when he plays like this he is one of the top 5 players in the L.

Because he's not a guard or wing player, he can't exactly dictate whether not he's going to score. He needs a guard to bring it up court to him and get the play set up. However, Carter has an advantage which is the reason why I'm surprised about his career high. He played on a team where he was the only option, he brings it up the court for the majority of the posessions, and Carter can score on the fast break or half court set while Garnett generally needs to set up down low before scoring.
Carter was called too unselfish at times in Toronto, and too many times when he needed to take more shots, he would try to get his "unskilled" teammates involved. That should tell you why he hasn't scored more than 51 points before. Pierce's career high is 48 points, Ray Allen's is 47 points, so it's not really a big deal.
