I'm confused about how a guy who can create a shot for others can have such bad shot selection for himself. For most of last night everyone that was taking shots took good shots, but Vince was mostly taking horrible shots. A lot of out of rhythm and off balance attempts. Very strange. Everyone else got them in the flow of the offense, but Vince felt the need to force things.

What SGs are better than Carter, and how do you realistically expect to acquire them for the Nets?</div> true those guys couldn't get it done, but they also didn't have a top 5 PG and an all-star SF playing with them either.... </div> you actually need to be selected into the all-star game to be an "all-star SF" and also, that "top 5 PG" can't shoot so combine that with the nets never having a good low-post scorer and shooter so you don't really need brains to figure out that all teams had to do was load up on carter all these years with rj being injured most of the time since vc arrived in jersey...now that rj is healthy, vc messes up his ankle early in the season... the nets managed for a while when we had a medium range threat in nenad then in mikki moore when krstic went down but not this season...
