what you dont realize is that i if anyone do realize that vince is a fan attraction...but even with vince, i dont think NO will have the attendance that toronto does. we were 6th in the league in attendance last year

"...just the kind of justice he deserves. "

How dare you. Vince has given so much to the league. Leave it to you, a fan, to tell Vince what he does and doesn't deserve. Why don't you watch the highlights of Vince and what he did for the Raptor organization and then you tell me he deserves to be on the worst team in the league.

the NO trade looks real good considering we need a C...if they could prolly take Jalen (who the Raps reaaaly dont want..) for mayb...PJ..(unlikely)...that would b trade justice.

Vince is still Vince...he shows streak of his mystic in dunks and defensive plays. He's not motivated anymore to play for Toronto mainly after how management has gone completely away from him. They need to realise, he is the TEAM, let him speak what he feels. You dont have to follow his advice all the time but he could give good pointers.

Expansion teams like ours were put in place for profit more than competition. There's no way in hell the NBA would b supportive of a Canadian team winning the title. Can you imagine how much ad money they'd lose coz...AMERICANS DONT CARE ABOUT CANADA...PERIOD.

    New Rumour-Carter To Knicks?

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">WITH VINCE ON MARKET, ISIAH'S WILLING TO WAIT

    By MARC BERMAN

MEMPHIS ? Perhaps Dec. 15 will break the Vince Carter stalemate. That's always a target date when players who signed free-agent contracts can be traded.

It just so happens that Jamal Crawford's contract can be shipped that day. Not that Isiah Thomas is ready to add Crawford into discussions come Dec. 15. For some reason, Thomas thinks he's got a chance at Carter with his underwhelming standing offer of Tim Thomas and Penny Hardaway for Carter and Jalen Rose.

The Raptors have rejected that offer since summer when Carter's agents tried to broker a deal. But Isiah is still willing to wait, feeling Raptors GM Rob Babcock will get increasingly desperate to remove the high-flying malcontent. Rose said this week he is certain a deal will go down soon.

With Hardaway taking an MRI today in New York after shutting it down indefinitely with a hamstring strain, Babcock can't move on that offer even if he originally liked it. As a first-year GM, how can Babcock sell that trade to the fans? It would be a pure salary dump, saving $48 million. He is expected to wait for more opportunities to open up Dec. 15.

The Toronto Star reported that Allan Houston's name has come up, replacing Hardaway. But his contract doesn't fit well with Toronto's cost-cutting strategy. Potentially, the Raptors get either more talent or a gigantic risk with arthritic knees. Any Houston deal will have to wait until he proves himself. The Raptors would still save money ? more than $20M ? in a Houston/Thomas for Carter/Rose package.

Smartly, Isiah will never trade Stephon Marbury for Carter. How could he with Marbury on the verge of a career year and Carter hitting his nadir? Putting Crawford in the deal would add to its complexities since his first-year wage is only $6M, forcing more salaries to be included.

In Isiah's favor, few teams want both Carter and Rose's pacts, heavy favorite Portland the exception with billionaire owner Paul Allen. </div>

if jamaal crawford is in this deal i would proabably do it

to mee if the knicks get carte this just seems like another star being thrown into the mix. but guess will have to see what happens if ny gets carter.

who knows maybe carter just needs a good point gaurd to blow up.

    You mean the chucker?

I'd do it if we got a big man mainly Nazr, but apart from that it's useless for the Raptors.

i dont want crawford OR starbury.

first of all...crawford has proven this year that he is still a streaky player unless he's getting 25 shots a game...in which case he CAN score lots, but his percentage is low and his shot selection is suspect...

starbury is playing in his hometown and loves it there...would he be happy in toronto? hell no.

tim thomas and penny hardaway for vince and jalen? you have GOT to be kidding me...how could babs be that stupid?

the phone conversation between thomas and babcock must have gone something like:

isiah - "hey...its isiah thomas...is glen grunwald there?"

babcock - "no sorry...he doesnt work here anymore"

    isiah - "oh...well who's in charge now?"

babcock - "i am...my name is rob babcock"

isiah - "oh..ok...cool...i hear you got vince and jalen on the block...i got tim thomas and penny hardaway"

    -click-

    isiah- "hello? "
