He almost led us to 2 upsets over the Ravens and Colts. We lost by one to both of them.</div>He's also completed 46.9% of his passes, 8 Interceptions, and a QB rating of 54.8. :whistling:</div>About the same as Leinart, not bad considering Leinart has nothing else to contribute and everyone (myself included) was talking about how much more "NFL-ready" he was than Vince.Vince also has 176 rushing yds & 3 TDs and has only been sacked 9 times in 8 games where Leinart has been sacked 14 times in 6 games. And while it can be backed up with nothing statistical, he has turned countless plays of should-be sacks & busted plays into big gains or TDs (the backwards pass to Scaife for a rushing TD last week).</div>Titans O-Line >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Cardinals O-Line. If it was a fair comparision between O-lines, I could see that arguement that Vince Young is less prone to sacks, but the Titans O-line has blown the Cardinals out of the water time and time again so its really impossible to tell.
By the same token....Edge, Fitz, Bouldin >>> Henry and any combo of 2 or more Titans WRs (whoever happens to be playing that day....may as well be me and you)So that's all a push, IMO. (I know Fitz has been out, but Bouldin/Johnson still beats the hell out of any Titans WRs)
We probably have the worst recieving core in the league right now so there's no way to tell whos better. The one thing that will win Vince Young games and not Leinart is that he can make plays with his legs.
what the writter was expecting?? to draft another druckenmiller... an unbelievable arm, but no mobility?? vince day by day is showing what he can do.. he isnt the best passer in the league, but maybe the guy who has the best intangibles... leadership, self confidence.. knows how to win a game in the fourth quarter.. norm chow is doing a great job with him, knowing how to use his abilities.. even his pass is getting better.. not to talk that scramble againt houston in texas.. nor the comeback against the giants... the time told.. vince is here to stay... ready to Canton, OH!!
