That's like the guy who scored 1 when Jordan scored 69 who liked to say "Me and Mike combined for 70"
Funny how Brian Grant left for exactly that reason. Would it help if I said "too many mediocre bigs, not enough good ones?"
Same. I was about to jump off of the Pruner Bridge (it's named after my great grandfather), and then saw that it was such a short time.
That means he is out 6 weeks. Then he will be re-evaluated and of course you got to start working back into game shape 5 on 5 drills and such. November some time would be good is the way i see it.
The only thing that's worrisome is now Aminu will be our starting PF for the season. Totts won't hand the position back to Vonleh after starting Aminu for two weeks. Ultimately we'll have to go on a losing streak, Aminu will have to be injured, or Biggie/Collins will have to grossly exceed expectations in order for us to fix this problem. It's kinda funny how such a small injury to such an insignificant player can have such a profound effect... One step forward, two steps back.
I'm not happy he's injured of course but there's a bright side to this. We do have too many bigs if everyone is healthy. Question marks on most of them but I want to see how Meyers does, how Ed Davis does, I want Biggie to get real minutes and I think Noah is kinda the odd man out. It's not that he isn't good, he's a solid player but he isn't as exciting to me as some of the other options
Seems funny that people are actually saying "We Have Too Many Bigs" Vonleh injures a shoulder and if another rolls an ankle or the team even gets in foul trouble and they are thin. 5 guys playing 2 positions is not too many. Remember, Aminu is not a BIG. Aminu is a SF. He needs to play in his position because the Blazers need strength at the wing.
I think there going put at center at the start so he be battling Leonard and Davis as Nurk back up. PF position will be Aminu Swanigan and Vonleh you might see Collins or Davis go in that bunch.
