If he's back in 6 weeks, I'll be surprised. I'm guessing 7-10 weeks.

It's never good to see a grown man cry like that. I felt sorry for Wade. He usually bounces back up, but to see him like that I was like shocked. Good luck to him........

6 weeks sounds optimistic to me, Wade has a high threshold for pain, but they are calling it a severe shoulder injury. Right now it's impossible to predict how long he'll be out, and 6 weeks is just standard lipservice an organization's timeline when a player has major injury.

They won't really know how long he'll be out until they reevaluate Wade after 2 weeks of treatment. He could suffer a setback during recovery, or the doctor's might conclude Wade needs season ending surgery.

Yeah the wheelchair looked like it was a bit much but some players pass out when that happens. I think he'll be back in 6 weeks though, he is as tough as they come in the NBA and he really wants to help us repeat. As soon as it happened Shaq seemed totally different and looked to have an extra bounce in his step, I think he's going to carry us to the playoffs but we really needed to make a deal today and it didn't happen.

I saw the first half, but I had alot of work to do so I missed the 2nd. I heard what happened today at school...This is probably the worst thing that could've happened to us and it did..I can't believe it, this has been a season full of injuries for us and now when we finally have everyone back, our playoff hopes take a huuge hit, [IMG]

We really needed Wade to make a strong push to begin the 2nd half of the season..this is just horrible. Hopefully he can recover, and still be the same player when he returns. Now we have to find a way to sneak into the playoffs..

True, but I think we would've heard by now. We really should've made a push for Carter as soon as Wade got injured. Even if he'll only be here for half a season. I heard we made a strong push for Bibby as well so hopefully something was done.

I knee it would happen sooner or later, and quite frankly, im happy. Never liked his game, personality, or style of play. Hope this ruins his career, where can I find the video of him crying?

Oh you don't like his personality..? Because you know him right?? [IMG]

Hope this ruins his career?! What the **** is wrong with you man, thats the worst thing you could've possibly said, never want to see any player go down like that, you obviously don't know what that feels like.

I'm not even a huge Heat fan and I think you're being a huge asswipe right about now.

Wow, I feel bad for Wade, hope he gets better soon, but this is KARMA for Pat Reily. The coach who leaves when the ship was sinking, and comes back when it's been righted by someone else gets bitten in the ass on his first game back on the sidelines.

If he's out for only 6 weeks, that great news. The East is so horrible now, even if the Heat struggle, they can probably still make up for it when Wade returns

I doubt he's going to have the surgery, they were interviewing a doctor on ESPN today who said he would be able to return and play at a high level before the season ends. If I were him I'd have the surgery after the season ends.
