<div class="quote_poster">Quoting realdealbneal:</div><div class="quote_post">As you posted this, I was on my way to the Heat forum to go post about how Shaq and Wade will dominate against the Bulls...but for this, I'm not interested.

Plus, I have yet to see a negative post from any Heat fan in the forum...unless it's about a former Laker, Eddie Jones.

Also, this thread is off-topic, so let's stick to LeBron/Wade.</div>
No i was talking about the HEAT forum. All the heat fans know that you always post negative facts about Shaq. Thanks for the info but we don't need to know cuz most of us know the problems and risk with having Shaq. So...you don't have to remind us.

BTW, back to topic. I do think, even though I'm a fan of Wade, Lebron is better player. They both are great tho but right now, it's Lebron who's slightly better than Wade now.

Both are outstanding, and both are playing incredible ball this year in the early go. At this point though, I'd take LeBron, but much of that comes from seing him so much more than Wade, although I have seen a half a dozen or so Heat games and have been keeping an eye on Dwayne's #'s.

One point that I do think is clear is that both of these guys should be starting for the east in the All Star game- even with the girth of talent at the guard spots in the east this season in particular.

One note I'd like to post concerning Wade: Having Shaq around certainly will not hurt Dwayne's #'s. From what I've seen already, Wade and Shaq have it already worked out, and when Wade gets Daddy the ball inside- there is no hammy missing of bunny shots. Shaq throws everything down even if out of position for a bunny. He's the only guy in the league that does it with such aggression, and this will add at LEAST two assists to Wade's dime totals over the year. This compared to the guys LeBron finds open, who for some reason this seasn have gotten fouled and missed the bunnies. Might not seem like much, but as the games grind on, it ads up. Shaq's dominance in the post is indeed going to give Wade a boost in his helper #'s.

I'd like to throw and additional question into this one as well if ya like:

Who's shoes would you rather be in coming into your second year: Playing the two for the Heat or the three for the Cavaliers?

IE: which situation would you rather be in if you could pick one as a player?

So, one vote for LeBron, but serious ackowledgement of Wade's continued progress into an NBA superstar.

I think both are up and coming teams, but I'd rather be with the Heat because they have two great players which make others better, whereas the Cavs only have one.

Are you kidding me? Wade is amazing, but Lebron is just better. He's already the closest player to Jordan, not Kobe. Heck, even Magic. He's arguably the best player this season so far.

I'm a huge fan of Wade's, I was one of the people suggesting he was right there in terms of ROY, but I have to give props to Lebron, he's improved his decision making rapidly, is doing all the other things just as good as Wade in terms of passing and rebounding for their positions, and he's also improved defensively just like Wade has. I think they're about even though, Lebron has the advantage of being the taller and longer player, and he's still working on his on ball defense, and Wade is also a great off ball defender who is not a bad on ball defender, they're both pretty good but he's also still working on it.

Wade is a better decision maker though, and he's a player that does everything you'd want someone to do, but Lebron is right there with him, and they're both improving rapidly.

...but LJ is 3 years younger, and as they're both improving everyday, Lebron has the slight edge because he has the athletic edge being about 6'8-6'9 which will be a changing factor, and should for the rest of their careers.

I'm a bigger fan of Wade but I'm not biased either because I'm also a huge LeBron fan. No doubt both are great, probably two of the better players from a draft. LeBron I feel is much more versatile, hence he'd have the edge in this sense. However I feel Wade has the larger passion so I'd choose him.
