Is this high school basketball, or what?..Because if he's the number 1 14 year old in the country, wouldnt he be on the varsity high school team..Holy f*cking crap...Theres a freshman in Indiana named DeShaun Thomas, averaging 27 ppg, 14 rpg. He's a 6'7 guard, and he's being compared to LeBron James..

Re: WAHOO!!! Still even if it was 8th grade basketball, couldn't he be playing on varsity still if he's that good. I'm not sure iuf some states don't allow that but I know OJ Mayo did it.

O.J. Mayo was held back.Plus he went to my school in 2nd grade but switched.
Re: WAHOO!!! Wow dude your such a liar. That article was written in April of '05 and it said there he was only 11 years old. That would mean he's only 12 or 13 right now depending when his birthday is.

Re: WAHOO!!! Ok, maybe he's 13 whatever. He's still #1 in the nation. And he's close enough to my my age. So, whatever. And yes he's in 7th grade I said that.Anyway the point is he's #1 in the nation. But that doesn't matter. I'm not making a big deal out of it I just added it as a note. It's not a big deal at all. I'm just happy we won the championship. And thank you very much Clangus.

Re: WAHOO!!! Congrats Pacers fan. At your school, does everyone get a ring? At my school, if we win a championship, we don't get a ring, but we do receive medallions like we just won the Olympics or something.. It's great. I haven't received one because I just joined the JV team and I'm not sure if we're going to win the championship... However, one of my friends and fellow teammate did receive a medallion back in our Freshman year.

But our whole school was really excited. All we heard were compliments all day after we won.
