All we need is Michael Doleac. He could provide a solid 12-20 mintues backing up Bosh. He has decent size at 6'11 262. He can rebound decent aswell.

Doleac straight-up for Murray might work.

Good trade, but not sure if the Knicks would take Bateer, who doesn't really seem to fit with too many teams.

Doubt NY would even want Bateer either, I don't think he's physical enough to play in the NBA. His best bet is probably to go back overseas. Baxter looks like he's got the back-up PF spot on lock, Harrington's only position. But if NY would make the offer, I'm sure Toronto would take it.

There is no doubt the RAptors need a center. But it will be quite hard to find one right now with the avaialable options. THere is little talent @ the 5 spot, and the raptors can sitll hold their own in the eastern conference.

I hope GG makes a move that we can all appreciate

what? screw that...doleac is garbage, hes got giant rocks as hands...GG should make a push for thomas...hes not that tall, but thick and strong enough to play center...he played TONS of center last year, and had a great season.

only problem with the raps getting thomas is that he'd have to sit, and sitting is whats got him complaining int he first place. donyell is being too productive to sit, and bosh is developing too fast to sit.

    kind of a dilema...

They Raptor should get Thomas. He'll provide them scoring, rebounding, and experience. He should start at the 5, and they Raptors should bump everyone up, and put Bosh at 4, DM at 3, VC at 2, and Jalen at 1. Alvin Williams will be 1st of bench. sounds good to me

What the Raptors also need dearly is scoring. They are the worst scoring team in the league right now.

Ever since the trade we have been scoring more than 90 points a game I think. Scoring is not needed.

Well, as far as I am concerned, being last in the entire NBA in scoring, is needing some help in scoring.

That's because of the many games w/ AD and JYD before the trade was initiated. Just watch...i doubt the Raptor's will even be in the last 5 in scoring by the end of the season.

Actually Kid Canada has a point, we got nuff scoring now. I mean, it's NEVER enough but what we now need the most is a guy who can grab boards and play tough D. I heard about Kurt Thomas trade on the news last night somewhere, did anyone catch that? I'd love to have Fizer from Bulls tho, he'd fit Raps well. I wish we could trade Lamond and Curry for him and some other SG.

Yah the only way to get thomas is if it were for Bosh, Is Layden smoking crack?? He must be, the knicks have made some very bad moves and it looks like NY's GM is making some very bull**** offers out there

prophecy...obviously you have no clue what your talking about...

here are the scores the raptors have put up since the trade:

    95 against philly
    105 against boston
    92 against atl
    108 against seattle
    100 against cleveland
    111 against boston
    89 against miami
    94 agsinst dallas
    70 agasint san an
    105 against new york

thats an average of 96.9 ppg since the trade...we are still at the bottom of the league because of our rough start.

dont come in here and try to talk about stuff you know jack all about

The Raptors need another 6'9" PF? (in reference to Fizer)

What the Raptors need is a center. Fizer doesn't play center. Thomas can play center, and would be a good addition, but what the Raptors could really use is a clogger.

Kurt Thomas for Lamond Murray, Michael Curry & mengtke Bateer/Jerome Moiso
I would do that.... and if the Raps should want to trade for Thomas, they should try to avoid putting Mo Pete into the deal. He has adjusted to KO's coaching ways and he is becoming more and more like the 6th man we want him to be

I agree, the Raptors should try not to trade MO-Pete.Thomas would be a great addition. Can help with rebounding. He gets 11pts, and 9rebounds a game! He is perfect.
