I think your whole premise was nonsense.

Some skeptics say there's warming but it's not man made. Some skeptics say there's no warming so it's not man made. Clearly there's not exact agreement between those camps. There are more shades of grey than the two I just presented.

 

What was that premise again?

There aren't a lot of shades of grey in "attacked, ostracized, ignored, and marginalized".

Like I said, the alarmists are the actual deniers at this point.

They deny:
1) Access to funding
2) Access to peer reviewed publications
3) That the earth has cooled for the past decade+
4) That their computer models are severely flawed
5) That evidence that is contrary to AGW is to be considered.
