What an absolutely hate filled, bogus article from an obvious hater like yourself. Sure you can produce an article like that from somewhere on the net (LINK!), but you'll just as easily be able to produce pro-Bron articles. See it from both sides.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting crocopbandwagon:</div><div class="quote_post">LMFAO!! The polls are only "pointless" when they completely REFUTE your point of view, eh? Even with LeBron getting 90% of the hype, the people STILL know who the best rookie of the year is. LMFAO @ some random guy on the net thinking he knows more than 25000 people. & apparently you didnt watch the NBA last season when Amare beat Yao for ROY mainly cuz his team made the playoffs. Apparently you also didnt pay attention last year that the Nugs were even WORSE THAN THE CAVS even though they both had a 17-65 record. Most people felt the Nugs OVERACHIEVED in getting 17 wins in the west. All about stats huh? I guess the fact that Melo is leading in ppg, FG %, FT% 3pt %, & Rebounds are all overruled by the fact Lebron has 3 more passes per game. Dont you realize that its apples & oranges comparing the 2 players assists? Theyre 2 different styles of players!</div> Polls are pointless they mean nothing..Many people can easily vote as many times as they like in those kind of things.I could care less what the public think about who should get it.The fact is the media make the decisions they get paid to do so.If you think that in total people that voted in that poll is exactly 25000 then you seriously are not thinking straight.ALOT of polls allow you to vote more than once..You can re-set your cookies on your computer and continue to make vote after vote. But that is not important...The sad thing is the fans who vote on those polls juts look at each players records.Which is what all kids do.They fail to see what that player does on the court, the way he sets up his team-mates...the all-round stats he produces. You mention Amare getting it over Ming because of just more wins? not true.Fact is Amare played a great 2nd half of the season which got him the edge on the votings. Why are you mentioning last years records for both teams? They basically mean nothing.Nuggets added ALOT more in the off-season than the Cavs did. You mention the stats ok here Lebron and Melo average the same rebounds per game,Same kind of FG%,Lebron edges Melo in steals.Lebron is getting quite alot more assists. The stats are basically the same...Which is why only a person who doesn't watch the games would say Melo "easily deserves the award" They should be co rookie of the years right now plain and simple. If you continue to bring up Lebron in any other thread that has nothing to do with him. They will be deleted.

Lebron gets 90% of the publicity & media hype & is 10X more popular than Melo. Which means that the 25000 people who voted Melo higher in these 2 polls OBVIOUSLY know what theyre talking about, or the poll would have been 90% for LeBron & 10% for Melo.

All the multiple voters would cancel each other out so you get an accurate picture EITHER WAY!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting crocopbandwagon:</div><div class="quote_post">Fine- Find a "Lebron is the next Jordan & the greatest rookie in NBA history" article past December 1st.</div> Sure thing. If i hunt hard enough I could find articles saying Baron's a better PG than Kidd, VC's a better SG than McGrady and the current Lakers are the best team of all time. 'Bron was the better player through November, carmelo's been the better player this month. ROY isn't decided in December, a lot can happen between now and the end of the season so your LeBron hating is tiresome and irrelevant.

Continuing this topic is pointless. This is about the Nuggets v Warriors game unless there is going to be on going disussion about this game I will close the thread.
The Warriors should have won this one. The Nuggets were just too clutch down the stretch and the Warriors reverted to their old ways.
