I guess I was pretty much spot on [IMG]

NVE with huge shots in the 4th.Good double success by GS..beat Lakers and Kings. If only you played this good on your east trip then your record would look very nice indeed.

This was a great win for the team!

I think that this next game against the Nuggets will be as much or more of a test for the W's as these last two games. If they can beat the red-hot Nuggets at home then they are truly on their way.

One wish I have for the team is that the Arena would be full of <u>Warrior</u> fans. Even though it makes for a fun game, trying to out yell those annoying Lakers and Kings fans is tiring. Let's get out there and support the team. We need to fill it up for the Boston game. Last home game for a while.

    Go Warriors!

Right on the money Warriorslover. Sunday will be another huge test for the Warriors. The Nuggets are playing almost as well as anyone and the Warriors must get more consistent on the road. Hopefully these two wins over powerhouse teams will get us going.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">As each Sacramento shot dropped through and as each Warriors shot careened harmlessly away, it looked more and more as if what the Kings held over the Warriors was not a winning streak, but a spell.

It took a Nick Van Exel one-hand flip as he slashed across the lane to the left to break the spell. The shot with 18.8 seconds left in the game halted, for all intents and purposes, a furious Sacramento rally that would have made Friday night the worst of the Warriors' 16 straight losses to their neighbors up I-80.

Van Exel's shot and subsequent free throw 10 seconds later saved the night and sent at least half of the crowd of 20,192 home happy. The Warriors held on to win 98-91 at the Arena in Oakland, ending a streak that had lasted four years and one week, since the Warriors' last win over the Kings Dec. 20, 1999.

Coming three days after an emotional victory over the Lakers in Oakland - - again in front of a crowd evenly split for the home and visiting teams - the Warriors have a pair of stunning and satisfying wins that followed two gruesome losses in Florida to close a road trip. </div>

2 things seem disturbing to me-
    1) How both the article and WarriorsLover said that the crowd was evenly split between the home and away teams. What's the point of home court advantage if half the crowd ain't cheering for you? The fans need to support their team.
    2) It's good to beat good teams, but the Warriors have to beat the bad teams too. Those are teh easy games that are going to help your schedule when playoff time comes. They could be on a 4 game winning streak, but they lost to 2 easy teams, adn beat the 2 best teams in the league. They need consistency to help them make the playoffs.

On that note, I couldn't have been happier with Murphy's play. 15 points and 14 boards in 27 minutes! Just a couple more games like this, and I'll say that he's completely back.

Yea, my sister was at the game and she said it was almost 50/50 but more Warriors fans. It is too be expected though...we are so close to eachother and the Kings are a big market team.

you could hear it on the television. everytime the kings scored it was like they were at home. it was REALLY annoying. hate those fans. i'm going to the boston game actually...hopefully we'll be 15-13 by then and we can win another at home.

Yessiree! The Lakers needed the Kings to lose to help them maintain their #1 seed in the West. A huge win for the Warriors and a bonus for the Lakers. Thanks Golden State!

yeah, lol, they're not cheap...but to tell you the truth, if you sit anywhere, i think it's a good seat. we were way up high where nobody was and it was hella fun, probably because we were the only ones there and we could yell anything. we usually only go on discounts.
