You'd think so, but we've fucked ourselves over and over all season in the exact same ways. At first I thought "no biggie, they just need time to gel." I thought the same thing about our defense too...

Most of the worst turnovers are against very little pressure too. Just flat out handing the ball over on the perimeter with sloppy passes leading to an easy fast break. We do it like 5 times a game. I'm not sure if Stotts just has no control over this team, or he wants them to play undisciplined. Maybe it's a little bit of both. He gives everyone the green light to do pretty much whatever they want. Sometimes it works out, but we look like chickens with our heads cut off for long stretches.

1.) These soft passes need to stop.
2.) Pass it like a man.
3.) Be looking for the pass so you don't get hit in the head by a man-pass.
    4.) ???
    5.) Profit

OK, I'll bite, they are not better but they are pretty evenly matched teams. I give the Blazers the edge and the higher seed going into the playoffs. Warriors are just playing a good game tonight

If that's true, why are they below us in the standings? Methinks you're clearly wrong.

We're a better team. Its stupid to make statements based on one game especially after a lot of stupid stuff has just happened.

They're able to hide Curry on defense because they have both Iggy and Klay Thompson capable of guarding PGs. We should be able to do the same with Batum and Wes, but then they immediately go to Barnes on Lillard and it's an instant two points. We need one more good wing defender. And we need Lillard to get better on D. He has better raw materials than Curry.

One game? Considering they are up 2-1 on us and could beat us out 3-1 I'd say they are better. I dont really care what the standing say, that doesnt mean we are better. Golden State beat out Denver last year in the playoffs and the standings said Denver was the better team since Denver had homecourt. Not sure how people think we are better.

The difference in the game is we've given them at least 10 fast break points off of stupid unforced turnovers. They haven't given us any. I think Wes missed both his FTs on our one chance to cash in on a steal.

They're both on about the same level defensively. But Curry is streets ahead in peevish head-lolling and pointing to the ceiling every time he hits a three pointer.

Well, right now we have the better record. By two wins in fact. So the best GS can do is tie us. I'm curious as to your metric for "better team" is.

Just because they have matched up well with us doesn't make them better.

By this logic then Brooklyn is better then Miami since they have swept Miami this year

Denver was without one of their best players (Gallinari), while conversely GState weren't forced into playing their expensive defensive sieve because he was injured. Still, obviously Iggy liked what he saw...
