Rad's sick break dancing defense leaves Stephen Jackson unimpressed.

I can't say I was surprised to see Jackson step up like that at the end though.

I've seen his game, the guy can get red hot from downtown, especially in the post-season (primarily when he was on the Spurs).

No he wasn't, he's had much better games. There will be a lot of rebounds available against a team that moves at a fast pace.

Really? He only shot 13/30 from the field, he had a good floor game but I doubt that game is even top 5 in terms of overall statistics. I thought Azubuike did a fantastic job on Kobe, hes not a very good defender in general but theres something about Azu that bothers Kobe I guess. Granted Kobe still got 36 lol, if anyone else guarded him he would have got 45 at least. Baron usually does a decent job on Kobe but he was in early foul trouble tonight and the refs were calling everything on him.

Jackson is our usual go-to defender on any SG, SF, or PF (as long as the PF us about 235 lbs or less; Bosh, David West, etc.). Kobe is just a little too quick for him I think and in the post his center of gravity is a lot lower than Jack's. I think Jackson is also at a disadvantage for being taller because even when hes retreating and putting his arms up Kobe is going to go for the contact and theres nothing Jack can do but pray the refs don't call it. Azu is 6'4-6'5, has biceps with the same circumference as Kobe's head, and has a pretty damn long wingspan. When he played Kobe he was very, very low. He was squatting so his head was at Kobe's chest, and he was even lower than that in the post. For some reason though Kobe didn't want to shoot over him. Obviously when a guy is that low it makes it hard to dribble but Kelenna never bit on pump fakes and only left the ground when Kobe did, hes got the leaping ability and wingspan to bother Kobe a little bit. Kobe couldn't move him in the post at all, he was more hesitant to dribble though he still could when he saw opportunities, for some reason he didn't really want to try and shoot over Kelenna (partly because pump fakes weren't working and Azu did a good job of contesting), and he couldn't really find a way to get a foul on Kelenna. Of course Kobe still nailed a lot of insane shots over him but he also missed several which is a hell of a lot more than I can say for anyone else who defended him tonight.

Monday's game will be interesting, lots of storylines. Kobe and Baron got into a one-on-one battle there for a while (they seem to do this every time this year), Azubuike did a good job defending Kobe, Jackson was huge with those 3's, there was apparently a yelling match in the Laker's locker room after the game, Nellie vs. Phil chess game, etc., etc.

I didn't think Azubuike did a good job on Kobe, once Kobe started posting up. It seemed to me that Kobe missed some rather easy shots that he normally makes. It should be one hell of a game tonight.

I didn't hear about the Laker confrontation in the locker room, only the one on court between Ronny and Jordan. I hope Ronny ripped him a new asshole.

Thats what I'm talking about. From my understanding they had some words on the court then it carried into the locker room after the game.
