Well, from my viewpoint, in order for the Warriors to get the most development out of all their potential talent, they'll need a competent PG to run the show. I just feel like that position is crucial to developing leadership and accountability. The young guys have a lot to learn in Nellie's system, and if GS is throwing out a collection of random players at PG every night, there will be no consistency and this will affect communication and the execution of the offense.

That's why I think it would be worth risking the possibility of overpaying Henrich to add some stability to that position. His production might not warrant the salary, but his impact on how the rest of the young guys develop might make up for it.

If Monta is running PG, Randolph might sit on the bench for a year or two, and take longer to develop. If a solid passer and handler is running the offense, we could potentially see Randolph turn into a starter towards the end of the season. I say this because it will be one less thing for Randolph to worry about. He'll be able to come in, take his position, and have confidence that the play Nellie calls is the play that will be executed, and that the team will be dialed into it.

I'm not saying Monta isn't capable of playing the PG, but right now I think we need a guy there who can just manage the ball, run the offense, pass like a leader and find open guys. This will speed up the development of Bellinelli, Monta, Wright, Ranolph, etc. and I think this is what GS wants.

In that respect, I'd like to see KH in a Warrior's uniform.
