I like this move. He's got solid numbers for a reserve.

    So let's break it down
    Curry/Jenkins
    Thompson/Rush
    Wright/Jefferson/McGuire/Wright
    Lee/Hickson
    Bogut/Tyler

My Guess is Wright gets moved, you pickup a backup 5 and trade up to get a bigtime 3 and potentially a veteran Point Guard... That looks like a playoff team to me

Wasn't Hickson a stumbling block for the Stoudemire-to-Cleveland deal or am I remembering incorrectly?

So it was reported. Kings traded Casspi and a 1st round pick for him less than a year ago.

If we get him after he clears waivers then I believe we he won't be an RFA and could sign outright elsewhere. We may still have a leg up in retaining him, but its no sure thing he would be back next season.

Hickson was claimed by Portland at the last minute. He was apparently with the W's in New Orleans when it happened lol.

Wow, sorry guys. He was a great pickup for the Blazers and would have been the same for the Ws.

Might not be the worst thing in the world. He could have screwed up our tank brigade, plus he would have been a UFA after the season. Jeremy Tyler got a start and showed some flashes tonight, might be better in the long run to give him more minutes not only for his development but also to tank.

W's are now signing Mickell Gladness. 6'11 220 lb C from the D-League.

Don't be surprised if he signs on next year. Nice talent, good upside.

Blazers got him off the waiver wire so I believe he'll be an RFA for them. Were we to nab him after he cleared waivers, as they planned, he would have been a UFA.

Who knows though, he could bust for the Blazers and they don't retain him anyway. They've got a ton of cap and could renounce him if they're in the market for some solid FA.
