Agree on Fitz. Lots of die hard fans always hated him but I never really minded him until this year but for some reason its really getting to me this season. Hes pretty damn annoying. Barnett is a boss though. I hear the opposing team's announcers a lot though and most of them are downright horrible though.

Ya, I think it was all the whining about Dwane Wayde that got to me. If you sit back and listen, I think he gets to Barnett as well more now than usual. BTW, When Lacob & Gruber mentioned that they wanted a young coach who could grow with the organization (before hiring Smart) I was on the Ty Corbin soapbox. Let's see if I can throw an "I told you so" out there.

Come on Cliffy, I'm sure you've played hoops, you should not have to be told to at least make an effort to play defense. At least try to move laterally in front of the offensive player. What Monta does is all about effort. Yes he's amazing offensively. Defensively and rebounding? Opposite end of the spectrum. So amazing that someone so fast on offense can be so slow on defense. Its not about coaching, its about effort.

Take SJax. He won a ring because he was a defensive asset, not for his shooting. With the Ws, he was the one above average defender on that team. Did Nellie have to tell him to play D? No. Then there were times when he was too caught up with the refs to play any D. It was all effort.
