Yes it is, and our team handled themselves very well. No unsportsmanlike conduct from the team or fans! Very classy...

I had some fun on RealGM.com with this guy Sebastien, a Bulls fan.

Had to make him eat crow after this prediction!

Their at home with a day off. Took a tough loss at Phoenix (that we could all see coming). Felt jilted after the last Bulls game. That non call on Chandlers screen on Fisher was brutal. Duns due to break out. The bulls already got a win against us so the pressure's off of them to win this game on the road. If they get down early, they'll give up.

If Dunleavy scores between 13-17 this game will be ugly. If he does nothing we'll still beat them handily.

I'm glad that the Warriors were able to win big with B-Diddy just being a distributor and not just a scorer.

Yeah I was on the Bulls forum saying we were looking for vengence and would win at home by 10. They were all ridiculing me. I said, we will see after the game. I am just waiting for someone to say something...

Good job boys, a good convincing win. Davis distributed the ball beautifully, it was fun to watch. Dunleavy finally looked like his normal self. From what I saw, Fisher was taking good shots and didn't force any.

Big game on Wednesday against the Bucks. Yea boys!

Yeah and they are playing a game the night before so hopefully they will be tired like we were against Phoenix. I think we need to reward our guys with a day off again tomorrow so they can rest up. Mooch used to do this for the Niners. When they win, they get the day off. If they lose they go straight to work. It was a nice reward. Lets get our guys all healthy...

Baron looked noticeably healthier tonight, I saw several times where he had pretty good lift but just couldnt finish a play (specifically where he weaved through a few guys for a layup attempt but missed and J-Rich got called for offensive goal tending on the put back). He just looked springier tonight and looked better. I was glad to hear Fitz talking about a stretch where we have 2 games in 10 days in December. That should help Baron's hammy alot.

Wish they had more breaks now than in December. I got midterms and crap to worry about now (but I can't resist watching... hey? why are my grades going down?). In December during my winter break all I want to do is watch the warriors... the 2 games in 10 days hurt.

I don't know Davis looked healthier, because he clearly couldn't penetrate today. I thought it's more of Davis not forcing the issue. Everybody played nicely today, and Dunleavy finally played decent basketball. This really was a must win game for us and we clearly showed especially at the defense. Let's see what we can do against Bucks...

Warning: Get the hell out of J-Rich's way if he's going to dunk, or become a poster.

Btw, looks like J-Rich is doing the #2

sometimes when a player is hurt and can do what he normaly do, he sis force to slow down his game and do other things to help their team. I think that is what happen to B-Diddy tonight.

Yeah, second half of Davis in last season (with us) was great, but I also loved first half of Davis when he was out of shape and couldn't go full speed. Because he couldn't go full speed, he concentrated on distributing the ball, and that's when everybody were starting to get really involved. I thought Davis really didn't forced the issue like last few games and decided to involve teammates bit more, and other players responded nicely. It must be good to be Richardson, when somebody can really utilize his athlatism...

Good game. The W's delivered when it mattered most, which was the 2nd half. The Warriors played really well defensively. Rather than going through the motions on defensive rotations, they really put pressure on the other team, especially their backcourt. Who would of thought the production from the Bulls' backcourt would have come from their third string point guard when they've got guys like Hinrich, Gordon, and Duhon?

The best aspect of the W's tonight is they moved the ball well and they hit their free throws. When Murphy/Dunleavy are having good games and we're getting production from the bench, it takes the pressure off Baron and Jrich to score and take a lot of shots. It's really all about which Troy Murphy or Dunleavy shows up in the game. They combined for a nice 30 something point total and 50% shooting. Foyle was great on the defensive end tonight. 2 blocks, 3 steals, season high 12 boards, and a nice pass to Jrich which was one of the highlights of the game.

I think the best thing that could have happened to the Warriors was that when they have the ball, it touches at least 3 different sets of hands before going up.

They had Baron to Foyle to Jrich. They had something like Dunleavy to Baron to Murphy. It was good all around team play which is really based on trust and getting used to each other's tendencies. I'm certain this aspect of the game is which allowed our team defense to have gotten better and get our offense running a lot smoother without a healthy Baron Davis. The passing as a team and the communication on defense and offense made the team look much better tonight than in previous games.

Good point. When I was listening to the Phoenix game the announcers kept saying the Warriors are a one pass then shoot team. 3 passes is what we used to do in high school when we got away from moving the ball enough. We would sit there and count out loud how many passes. Then if someone shot it without 3 passes we would all yell at him even if he was wide open. Sometimes we used to do 2-3 passes coming up half court and get the 3 passes out of the way! lol

Where did this defensive squard come from? We were 9th in opp. fg% and it's bound to go up when today's stat gets included. Granted that we considerably slowed our tempo down, and that probably has something to do with it, but so far, defense really is carrying the team. Of course, the biggest surprise in NBA is Wiz with 39% opp. fg%. It's hard to imagine that the team with Arenas and Jamison can defend that well. Warriors in West and East are starting fast.

Well, let's see what we can do for rest of Nov. We were traditionally strong against Eastern teams, and it really showed in this year as well, going 5-1 with that Chicago loss. Hope we can do better job against Western teams...

In all fairness, I think Baron Davis has had to be the scorer in the past, because he is the most skilled player with the ball. He is the only one that can create the kind of respect which forces double teams that allow opportunities for others to get open. The problem with this is there's too much reliance on bdiddy to do something rather than use the whole team to confuse the defense.

When Bdiddy is trying to create for others singlehandedly it involves alot of that kind of one-on-one scoring kind of play when the other guys aren't moving off the ball actively enough. We have no inside presence once he's at the rim so you bet it's going up.

Tonight, the warriors as a team were looking to find cutters once the ball left Baron's hands and were making more use of off the ball movement play than in previous games. I think the players are finally buying into what Monty, Mullin, and the other coaches want to see. It's totally true that the W's cannot be a good perimeter guard-based team if they don't have more guys going inside to outside and back inside, or going reverse on the backdoor play, or finding ways to force defenses one way or to confuse them into leaving a guy open. We want the mismatch on a guy in our favor or the wide open look at the basket, but most importantly make the other team work really hard on defense. We execute well, we confuse the other team into making some mistakes like touch fouls, make it so they lose vision of the ball or read the offense the wrong way. We get easier wide open baskets closer to the rim or we put somebody in a good position to score their bread and butter jump shot.

Personally, I love the three ball, but it sucks if they don't make at least 38%. They should try the 20 footer or the 18 footer catch and shoot to get warmed up, rather than the 3-point off the dribble, in transition shot. Also, like Jim Barnett preaches, it's better to take the ball inside and get fouled. You have to work a lot harder for it by enduring the contact and weaving around defenses, but you may get the basket and the and1 for the possible 3-point play or you might find somebody else out of the corner of your eye for the easy bucket. The three point shot is really for the guys on a roll and if they're not feeling it and they keep shooting it, it's just lazy basketball.

One more thing I forgot to add: Good job Dunleavy for diving into those seats after that looseball. That was very Custodian like [IMG]

Those cuts by Pietrus and Richardson were sweet! That's team basketball and a way to get points inside without post ups.
