Montgomery needs to pull Richardson, Murphy and Fisher aside and tell them what's a good shot and what's not. Karl did wonders for Melo's game by turning him into one of the more efficient ball players of the league.

It won't happen because Montgomery is a wimp. At this rate we're going to sacrifice the season for internal development which is a crock. Montgomery sucks. Rather than playing the waiting game to get rid of him, get rid of him now. Hire Silas and call it a day, jesus.

I love Paul Silas, but I don't think this team has the personality to fit his style. He prefers to grind games out with physical players on the inside. This Warrior team is geared for running and gunning. They need to hire a coach who can run schemes to take advantage of the Warriors strengths instead of trying to get them to be a team they simply are never going to be.

Flip Saunders would have been an amazing choice for this team.

The architect of the Phoenix Suns offense, Marc Iavoroni tested the coaching waters this summer, but didn't like any openings. I think he could have similar success with the Warriors because Baron Davis is one of the best open court players in the game. The Suns are running their uptempo style, even without Amare Stoudemire.

Stan Van Gundy would also work, after getting shafted by Riley and Shaq. He's a quality coach, and had a lot of success with his speed lineups.

Bringing in a defensive minded coach, when you don't have defensive minded players is not going to ever work for the Warriors. This team goes through coaching changes every two years and still haven't figured out the right leader on the sidelines for this group of players.

There is so much offensive firepower on the Warriors, they just need to let the reigns loose and become a volume shooting team. With improved scoring, I'm willing to bet the defensive intensity picks up because getting more stops is going to lead to more shot attempts.

Think about that quote. Do you really need to do that? If those clowns do not know what a good shot is, you've lost already.

JRich, supposed on the cusp All-Star/wannabe "go to man" does not know what a good shot is? I thought he was getting the message the first 20 games but I do not know what has happened the last 15 games. Before, he was cutting off the weakside getting passes in the paint and finishing and more importantly, refraining from hoisting uncontested/contested long jumpers. Now, where is that game?

Murphy? Man, after playing basketball for what 25 years, you should know what is a good shot.

Fisher? He's a three time champion; he knows. The problem is that he fails to recognize that even if he's not playing with the Shaq Lakers, a good shot is the same as before. I do not think he thinks that way.

Yeah you do. Carmelo Anthony was utterly worthless under Jeff Bzdelik. I cringed watching him play ball. Denver hires Karl and Anthony now plays a team game. He's one of the more efficient players at his position. I don't like Murphy but under the right coaching he could be better, not Carmelo Anthony good but good for Murphy. Now Bzdelik is where he belongs, coaching at a place like air force and looks to be a pretty good college coach. Sounds similar to our situation.
