Let's hope the 2nd half we come out strong. Warriors are fouling and giving up rebounds. Positioning guys! Positioning!

See as much as I get down on Cheaney or Dunleavy, they come up big when they work the midrange game moving off the ball. The 17-18 footer has been money.

Dunleavy might get thrown around but if the refs are calling it hey, free points and fouls for the sonics.

Well as bad as we started, we're very in the game.

It's just a bad sign that the Sonics are shooting 31% but have a 2 pt lead.

Allen and rebounds are killing us.

Good question. One explanation could be Baron is expecting contact when he goes up, so he adjusts his shot so that it will go in when he gets bumped. Also maybe he's not as good with his left hand as his right hand, maybe? I see Baron attack the basket either side, but he seems to switch quite a bit to his left hand and ward off with his right on some occasions. I mostly see him miss when he's going left as well.

It's best if we go small tonight. Foyle played awful, Murphy was okay but ruined the flow of the offense. Leave him out of the post!

I love how Dunleavy is doing something to turn the game around. One thing I like about Dunleavy playing the midrange game a la Calbert Cheaney, is he has the opportunity to get fouled, he's taller than other shooters, and he can follow his own miss a lot better. I mean, nobody fouls 3 point shooters especially because it's such a low percentage shot. Dunleavy has been getting to the line and is pretty accurate from the foul line this year, which is great. I think it's because he's taking the shots closer in where defenders are more likely to jump at him and he's also closer to the paint where he can use some quick steps to already be at the hoop. Dunleavy ain't that fast, but he could be more saavy and aggressive like he is playing now. He's been a game changer.

I'm surpised we are still in this game after watching that first quater. We were getting molested on the boards, taking bad shots, and fouling the crap out of them. We need this one.

Blown layups are like a good golfer missing a putt even I would sink..they take it for granted. A player may have put a lot into a geat move to get the layup, and forgets the finish.

Odd game in that a lot has gone wrong for our guys-yet it's even. Warriors D contained the Sonic shooters. They played rebounders, who got boards but did little scoring. Second half I hope we are in tune,we CAN take a pretty decent lead on these guys.

    Don't forget foul trouble! [IMG]

We give one of the better free throw shooting teams a chance to ride the bonus the rest of the way. W's can't play tough D in fear of fouling.

The Sonics are owning the boards, we need to go bigger so we can block out and clean up on the glass. Their starting center is a power forward for gosh sakes. I like Nick Collison, but there's no way he should be outboarding Foyle (IMO) unless Foyle sucks that much.

If we can secure the boards, we can also run opening up Baron Davis' game.

Yup, it's all about the second half! First half is used to keep it close and buy time (and fouls). Now we need to narrow the 2nd half lineups and run with those who can execute down the stretch. Cheaney, Murphy and Dunleavy and Fisher's solid play was part of the turning point. Richardson was also a factor early on.

I see the tights Kobe wears is becoming a fashion trend. Ray Allen is the latest to jump aboard the latest fad to hit the NBA. They obviously work, he's been on fire from behind the arc.

The Warriors need to stop settling for these shots, they can easily get to the rim against this team. The Sonics have the worst interior defense in the West.
