Yes I agree with that, Golden State was an run and gun offensive team that didn't really have any defensive focus, and moving from Golden State, Antawn went to Dallas who were also a run and gun, no defensive focus team.

Now he's here, and we're also a fast paced, score in bunches team, so defense has never been something his coaches have preached to him, so it's probably a reason for that. He's not a terrbile defender, just not a good one, he's okay.

Also in the post you can't expect him to survive defensively.
