    List of scandals
    Jack Abramoff Indian lobbying scandal
    Mark Foley scandal
    Tom DeLay campaign finance investigation
    Plame affair
    Cunningham scandal
Jerry Lewis - Lowery lobbying firm controversy
    Bush administration payment of columnists

Political corruption was a key issue cited by voters at exit polls during the 2006 Midterm Elections, as the voters made their frustration known. [2] The Democratic Party regained control of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Democrats also regained a majority of state governorships and control over a plurality of state legislatures.

My bad? I thought realtors got paid a % of the sales price of a property. So the incentive is the bigger the price, the more one gets paid. That's an interest in opposition to a buyer getting the best price.

You had to go back 3 elections to some ancient campaign promise. Well...I bet Republicans made the same statements in some election a hundred years ago, so I think we should keep chastizing them for that forever.

The 2006 "culture of corruption" description was accurate. Even now we're reading about $6B here, $12B there, unaccounted for in the wars. Bush corruption will never be repaired, especially the expensive doubling of intelligence staffing.

Republicans have a sense of entitlement that their guy can ruin the country and the Democratic follow-on will rescue the country. That's what happened after 12 years of 1981-93, but this time you guys just went too far and Obama can't fix it. It's over. The country's done for. Unlike his father, this Bush is irreversible. We have been tax-cut into permanent Depression.

Those Pelosi democrats ran the show until a few months ago, and immediately were met with their own scandals. Google William Jefferson, rep. from Louisiana.

And the economy was doing just fine until the deems took control of the house and senate in 2006.
