The Rockets have so much national TV games because they are very popular. They have two star players, Yao and McGrady, and seem to be a playoff favorite. And Yao isn't a stupid guy from China. He is improving every year and will dominate this league after he has more experience in this league. Give him a break. And also, the NBA can't change it. Sorry, but already finalized.

There are a lot of chinese fans out in America who idolize Yao and the Rockets have a lot of national tv games, so the chinese fans can cheer him on. The Rockets have 35 national tv games and the lakers have 34, don't get mad just because the rockets have 1 more national televised game.
Out of all the Rockets games on National TV last season, the ones against the Lakers seemed to be the best. My personal favorite was on Christmas day.

Are the Rockets good enough to warrant all the attention? I'd say no, they haven't proved anything on the court yet. But Yao is an interesting and popular figure in the game right now, and he has the potential to become a legitimate superstar.
