Yeah he is huge. I'm starting to really notice that now. He's taller and way thicker than Yi. Sounds like perfect complements to me. Yi is swift on the wings and Brook is strong on the block.
My guess is a lot of light reflecting off the white floors, which light the outside of his legs and undersides of his arms disproportionately. Most of the photos from today could use a good gamma tweaking in photoshop as the flesh tones are too dark for my taste (and my monitor is pretty accurate).
I agree it probably would never catch on for that reason. But the fact that they are both 7 footers, new, young "cornerstones" of the franchise brings to mind other teams that had "Twin Towers", going all the way back to the first duo that I ever heard described by that moniker (Ralph Sampson and Hakeem Olajuwan of the Rockets). Last team I recall that had their bigs tandem described as "twin towers" were the Spurs with Robinson and Duncan. Makes the numbers for Yi and Lopez seem a bit eerie in that light.
Hey guys, this hasn't been announced yet but here goes: The Nets just made some trades and the new guys arrived just in time for the photo shoot. Say hello to the Nets new starting lineup:
Haha nice. Harris and Miller have the same jersey number though, is this another one of Frank's plan to make the offense more dynamic?
