Sacramento...

The Seahawks were 4:0 in pre-season.. 1:3 right now

I hope we go to the finals but stop with the Miller=Nash and WCF treads.

BTW- Nash is the most overrated player the past decade.

...but I have been saying this for years now, the same reason why the dynasty begins in 2010 [whether that is the championship or the 2010-11 season, we will all find out soon enough]!!!

Hack, it's true that you've been saying the same thing for years now.

Put on your red dress baby, cause we're going out tonight!!

Two preseason games and there is a "higher expectations for Oden" and "WCF or bust" thread....its good to know everything is back to normal around here
good luck with that...

I sense a lot of negativity from you lately?! Kind of jealous that Oden is better than Bynumb now?

I agree that the goal this year should be WCF. They have the talent.

The Lakers won the title last year ... DaRizzle isn't being negative he's just laughing at all of the over the top sunshine pumping that people do around here after a couple of "decent" performances in a pre-season game against the team with the worst record in the league last year.

I don't think this has much to do with Bynum vs. Oden at all ...

to be fair, a lot of us here have held a pretty sunny view about the club and the 2009-10 season in particular for a few years now. Hell, I predicted 55 wins last year. That they won a couple preseason games vs the lowly Kings isn't anything to crow about, but that Greg looks to have regained his bounce the 2nd season following MF as we've collectively crossed our fingers hoping he would sure is.

a Laker fan is being dismissive about the Blazers chances going into a season??? That seems pretty much "back to normal" to me.

btw, if Laker fan needs "good luck" with anything it's dealing with a healthy Celtics team... I recall them being completely outclassed not so long ago.

They'll need "good luck" having a 35 year old starting PG and no decent backup... thats a lot to overcome. Also I especially want to wish them "good luck" at having knock-kneed AB make it through a season without blowing out another ACL.

I would be extremely concerned about his knees if I was a Laker fan. How many more knee injuries can he take before it's the final one?

yeah....heres our 3rd string (at the moment) pg

[video=youtube;K2QpIfgUtcg]

dunk of the year already?

For the record Im not saying you cant make the WCF...in fact right now id give you a 50/50 chance of making it that far....and no further :devilwink:

rate the Lakers title hopes minus Kobe...

you should thank god KG wasn't healthy otherwise the Lakers would have been a familiar speedbump. Good luck with that this year

Oh my goodness! Your 3rd sting PG can dunk! HE IS SOOOO GOOOD!!!!1!

Gasol, Odom, Bynum = KG, Sheed, Perkins
Artest < Pierce
Kobe > Allen
Fisher <<<<<<< Rondo
bench schmench

DaRizzle... whats your theory on why Brown has played on 4 teams in his first 3 years in the league... is it because he's so awesome?

Personally I don't see any way the Lakers finish ahead of us this year. I believe we're better than them. Seriously.

OMG! You're 3rd string point guard is athletic and can dunk! We should just give the L*kers the 'ship now.

Oh wait, we have one of those 3rd string, athletic, dunking PGs too (Bayless).

Should we split the trophy? :dunno:

...agree, 110%!!! [Lakers appeared to be the weakest champion in the last decade, at least :pimp:]

Nash is the most overrated player the past decade.
Are you talking about the Steve Nash who won 2 MVP awards (and was barely edged out by Dirk Nowitzki for a third)??? The guy who has led the league in assists and free-throw percentage at various points in his career? The guy who was named by ESPN as the ninth greatest point guard of all time?

THAT Steve Nash????
