What can LeBron do that Wade can't? Wade can score, rebound, and pass just as good as LeBron can.

Exactly, LeBron just has more hype because he came out of highschool to the NBA.

Wade is no where near LeBron?

I don't know if Wade would've turned it over so badly like LeBron just did in the final minutes of the 4th quarter vs the Pistons. I don't know if Wade would've continued to jack up shots with the game winding down knowing that he wasn't making them and failing to find a better play.

What people don't realize is that Wade is poised. If you've watched as many games of Wade as I has you'll see he's a very undercontrol player in pressure situations. He does a good a job as anybody at protecting the ball and making the right decisions with a game on the line. He won't ever make a decision with the intent of trying to prove something like other players. With other players they are SO PREDICTABLE in the final minutes of the game it's not even funny any more. They're just trying to be the hero and end up being the reason they clank up shots or turn it over in the clutch.

Yesterday against the Nets he could've taken that dagger shot against the Nets that Payton took. But instead he had the intention "if I can beat the defense I'll get a high % shot, but if I don't, I'll kick it out to an open 3 shooter and still get a high % shot". This guy has been doing this for so long he can make a great decision in an instant on who has the better shot.

He sees and reads the game perfectly. Him Billups and Nash are the only 3 players that can coach on the floor. In the NBA having someone like that on the floor is a huge advantage when competing for a championship (think about it: cutting off the middle man between the coach and the player and making them one?!).

I'm happy the Heat have a player like Wade that will have the ball in his hands when the game is on the line. Ask the fans of the Pistons, Nets, Bulls, and Wizards. They'll tell you.

Wade knows what it takes to win. It's just a matter of time before he does.

Both players are very good, but LeBron is doing it with not nearly as talented players as the Heat have. Therefore, there is no way you can even think that Wade is > that LeBron. To say such a thing is just nonsense talk. I'm so tired of people hating on Bron because he's doing so many things at such a young age that the other players in the NBA INCLUDING JORDAN could only dream of doing. Everyone just needs to sit down and be thankful that you are alive during a time where you can witness such a great player as LeBron.

    Ooops, this just in:
LeBron and crew just beat the Pistons.

    Game over.

Not as much talent as the Heat have?

Damon Jones, a DNP-CD with Cleveland, STARTED on the Heat next to Wade.

LeBron's rookie roster: Prime Boozer, Big Z, and 22 games from Ricky Davis

    (actually it included:
    Eric Williams
    Jeff McInnis
    Kevin Ollie
    Darius Miles
    Tony Battie
    Ira Newble
    Lee Nailon
    Chris Mihm
    Jason Kapono
    DeSagana Diop.)

Young injured Caron, Rafer Alston, 1st Career Year Odom. That's what Wade had in his rookie season.

If LeBron is so much better than Wade, and the only thing that's different is the supporting casts, then I'd argue that his talent should've been enough to atleast gotten one of his first two teams in the playoffs (despite having more than enough to do it).

Very well said, people say Lebron is so great but that's because he's had so much hype added to ihm. Look at him, he is a 21 year old in a 27 year olds body. I like this rivalry, what gives Wade the edge in my book is the mental game. Sure Lebron had that little thing with Arenas' free throws, but I'm talking about when your in the heat of the battle DWade is a much better decision maker.

Seems like a pretty big goof on the logic side. To get up eight times, you have to have fallen eight times. Unless one of those times was getting up from a nap.</div>
Well first of all, it's Fall seven times, Stand up Eight

You stand up first so you can fall. So that's the first "Stand Up"
After all, you still stand up from the seventh fall so that makes "Stand Up Eight"

IDK, it's a nice slogan, but it's a tad flawed.

How many times do I have to say it, LeBron will at least equal Jordan by the end of their careers in terms of statistics. Please tell me that someone has the forsight to recognize what LeBron has done already. No one is saying that LeBron is > that Jordan right now. Put 2 and 2 together and come up with 4. Add them or multiply them, you still get the same thing, same result.
And no, Wade is not in the equation at all.

LeBron will equal Jordans numbers. I wish it wasn't so, but I too had to wake up and witness.

Knows what he is talking about.

Also, no one cares about LeBron's teamates in 04 and how they compared to Wade's in 04. I'm talking about today's Wade's Heat and LeBron's Cavs.

It doesn't really matter, because we are going to be watching the 2 players go at it here shortly. LeBron wants the matchup and sheed knows there's nothing his team can do to stop him.

    o rly? no

people will soon realize how much better lebron is, I'll let lebron prove me right, instead of bringing up stats that seem to prove nothing over time (just for the record, if you DO look at their stats, lebron beats wade at almost everything, and the things wade beats him by are very small except for FT%)

so sit back and relax, maybe have some Vasaline, what ever floats your boat, and watch the Lebron show pass by

p.s - there was a time where someone said the bucks would make the playoffs, and the whole site made fun of him, even the mods and admins, and when they made the playoffs you guys were dumbstruck, blinded by numbers, just wait and see.

Yeah I can't wait for that series either. But guess what, whoever wins the series doesn't prove one being better than the other. Bball is a team game
Yeah LeBron has better stats and I agree I think LeBron has slight edge over Wade because he's got that gifted body but Wade is no where near LeBron?
I say he's right next to him. If Wade had to try as much as LeBron had to do to win a game, I say Wade can average 30 a game as well.

He can't rebound and pass or score like Lebron. HE can do all of those things very well, but lebron is a triple double threat every night. Plus, Wade has had the luxury of having FAT ASS SHAQ his whole career. Lebron just this year has gotten some decent teammates, but none of them come close to taking the pressure off him like Shaq takes it off WADE.

Why does everyone say that Lebron and Kobe's supporting cast suck? They don't. Z is a 2 time all-star. He definetely helps taking the pressure off. Drew Gooden is a good young big man, nearly a double double guy every night. Eric Snow is a great floor leader, he doesn't put up the great stats, but he is definetely a good PG to have to set up his teammates. Damon Jones and Donyell Marshall are instant offense off the bench. Not to mention Hughes and Flip Murray for a third of the season each and now for the playoffs.

He doesn't have a 2nd superstar, but neither did Duncan those years(someone would show up in the playoffs for him-like Ginobili, but not around the entire season) or the Pistons didn't even have 1 superstar 2 years ago.

Sorry for my rant, I'm just tired of hearing how crappy Lebron's supporting cast is, when it isn't. Do you think KG would switch Lebron places or AI or Paul Pierce? HELL YEAH.

Have you watched LeBron's supporting cast in the playoffs? No one has consistently stepped up outside of LeBron. Ilgauskus and Hughes, who are the supposed to be the two best players after LeBron, have been terrible in the playoffs.
