    mR. kWAN1031,

You are correct. I misspoke. So why would Indiana even consider it and maybe that is why Mullin said what he did.

I am so sorry I am a believer. You used to be a lot more positive about this team but lately you have joined the crowd of disbelievers.

I think that all of the negative stuff comes from years of futility. I just think that current management and players are not responsible for that. Of course the owner is a different story. I would like to get a low post presence and keep this team together. That is their biggest liability.

I doubt any of these people who are claiming what the deals are, and what the GM's are offerring, know anything. Both sides have repeatedly claimed that there is discussions going on, but neither have stated exactly what's happening. Why should they? Teams never tell you what's going on. The only thing anyone knows for sure is that Ron Artest will be traded. And it's a high probability that the Warriors are in on the discussions. Anything beyond that is pure speculation.

Yeah, when it comes to trade rumors, writers grab any rumors and write stuff. So, as long as it's not a direct quote from somebody, don't take it too seriously. Since, the article didn't have any direct quote from anybody, and logically, it's far fatched that Indiana is willing to accept Dunleavy and we are hesitant to receive the contract. That's why I believe that rumor is not legit.

I don't know how our current management are not responsible for what's happening to Warriors now. All Mullin inherited from Saint era were Richardson, Murphy, Pietrus, Dunleavy's rookie contracts with excellent cap situation, which any GM would dream of. Mullin brought Davis, Fisher and Zarko, resigned Richardson, Dunleavy, Murphy and chose Foyle over Dampier, drafted Biedrins, Diogu, Taft and Ellis, fired Muss, who was hired by Saint and hired Monty. Whether good things or bad things happen, it would be directly responsible toward Mullin.

I have wrote what I believed, and I still maintain that approach. Under Saint, although our records were horrible, there were reasons to be optimistic. But, our current managment killed number of hopes in 1 year, and the only reason problems are not visible right now is because of Davis and we didn't cross luxury tax line yet. But, once they start to become visible, buckle your seatbelt, because it will be a wild ride. I am not saying we will defiintely crash to the wall, but it will take one heck of driving skill to come alive from the salary hell...

Whoever we get in the trade, I sure hope it fixes our frontcourt and our center lineup. We don't need more picks and veterans that can't produce. An ideal Artest trade for us would be something that would allow Ike to start at power forward or we dump Dunleavy now before he becomes untradeable for the next three or so years. I would like to dump Fisher too, but we might need him for the playoffs. He's our best shooter, but he's horrible as a point guard. I'd rather have combo guard Earl Watson.
