Celtics/Lakers in the finals. Or the race to it.

Celtics aren't going to make the Finals.

A Lakers/Cavs Finals would be bad ass, though.

thrilla, your posts in the lakers forum, in my opinion, come off as immature and arrogant. calling kobe a rapist is just ridiculous, yes he had some major character issues, but that was a long time ago, if you want to dig up crap about our players then how about this, your "big 3" before they all came together, couldnt acheive anything close to what kobe has acheived. now i still like peirce, kg and allen, they have been great to watch throughout there careers, but you celtic fans alway seem to act like the big bully kid at school with no friends. showboating and being a bad winner is bad sportsmanship, something that kg has doen repeatedly throughout his career, he is a fantastic player, but is a bit of coward when it comes to his direct insults to other teams and players.

i beleive that celtics are a force to be reckoned(spelling?) with, but that does not mean that they are the most unbeatable team in history, a team that couldnt possibly lose to the arguably one of the top three teams in the nba right now. what you say about our team, its players, and its supporters, especially us on S2, is insulting, and quite frankly, makes you, and your precious little team, look very vulnerable and scared, kind of like the "big bad bully". So what if brian/lost one supported the sixers in the past, that is his choice, and if you dont like it, then keep it to yourself, or send him a pm or something, because nobdy else here has any problem with it. lots of people support more than one team, i am a strong supporter of the lakers i love the lakers, but i also am fond of the knicks. look, coming into this orum trying to "defend" your team and its player is okay, but that is not whhat you are doing at all, all you are doing is attacking our team, its players and us and im really sick of your immature and misguided comments. you rave and rave, on and on, and it makes you seem insane, like a crazy religous nut on the street, try having a respectable chat with us like an adult instead of screaming at us like a 12 year old boy with an attitude..

Making fun of you guys is going to be so much more fun this year than it was last. You have no reason to be this confident.

You'll find out in June, if you make it that far.

Well the way I see it, the Celts aren't the Bulls of the 90's or even the Lakers earlier on this decade. They deserve respect but not to the point they should be the clear cut favorites. Based off this season they look comparable to us, and that is what I will judge them on. Their core is older and our road is easier.

Cling to that title last year Celtic fan, it'll be an asterisk by mid-June.

The west is a cake walk for you because there isn't any team that is as tough as the Celtics and/or the Cavs in the west. Simple as that.

Also you said the same crap that we will not be able to hang with your team in the finals, and you know what the result was. ;)

If we're healthy, there isn't a team in the league that comes close to beating us. (hence the 18 or 19 game winning streak we had earlier in the season)

And we're doing fine without Posey. Of course I'd like us to have another bench player added, but I'm as much confident going into the playoffs the way the team is right now.

Celtics or Cavs will beat the Lakers in the finals. Book it, and quote me on it.

You're taking it way too serious dude. Thrilla doesn't deserve that crap from you.

No one is saying the Celtics are the Bulls of the 90's. Also they deserve respect and until someone takes the championship away from them in June, they are to be looked upon as the best in the league. (plus they're showing it on the court, game in and game out)

We don't cling to titles since we have so many of them. Sorry EHL. lol

The East is garbage after the top teams too, just look at the race for those bottom seeds.

Having Bynum and Ariza will nullify whatever excuses you want to make about Health. I can't believe your team totally lost their cool just because LA beat them; 2-7 came out of nowhere.

The Celts and Cavs haven't proven anything against this year's squad, I'm not favoring them until I see something.

You'll see it in February HK.

And no we haven't lost our mind, we're just telling you and your fellow Laker fans that your team is not the best in the league and neither is the Magic who had a better record than us just few days ago.

Celtics / Cavs > rest of the league (including lakers, spurs, magic, pistons, etc)

Is this some kind of BCS system?

Oh sorry, you misunderstood me by the way. I meant your team lost their cool by going 2-7 after Christmas, not all the Celtic people at S2.

The way this debate has raged is laughable. The Lakers, this year, can beat the Celtics or Cavs, unless either team beats them in the regular season to say otherwise.

Of course, the hardcore fans will say that the games don't matter, and that the teams were trying to preserve energy for the playoffs. Those are all bull. Celtics wanted to beat the Lakers just as much as the Lakers wanted revenge. In the end, Celtics couldn't do it. It wasn't a matter of who "tried" harder, arguing about that is what kids do at school.

I remember (witnessed/participated as a fan) 6 titles and 10 Finals appearances. When was the last title you remember besides last season? Woops.

Cling to those 60's titles kiddo.
