Nice win for a gritty group of guys that played wonderfully together throughout the summer league. I just pray this isn’t the only Portland Trail Blazer title I get to witness during my lifetime.
This whole summer league was really fun to watch....enjoyed the hell out of it after months with no Blazer hoops....game threads really sucked though....I swear we now have Knick fans becoming Blazer fans...the heckling crowd.....7-0.....a lot to be proud of
We just won the championship, so why the complaints? That's what you'd say! Just pop some champagne and celebrate. I'll see you on Broadway.
This was almost as good as spending the day at the Sapphire Day Club and Pool last Friday! Gotta start planning next years vegas summer league trip!
I cheered every game! checkin in on the game threads was like being in the Garden with Melo playing on a bad night...no prob...I don't drink anymore at all and can't drive in my condition but you guys enjoy! I sure did....not sure if you read that part of my post....Go Blazers!
I mean, this is kimd of related, but some people like to analyze what they see whether it's the good or the bad. Ok one of those types of people. When people say "So and So is struggling with this", or "So and so shouldn't get minutes because of this, and he's struggling with that right now", is that what bothers you? There's other posts that I understand why it could be annoying. I'm just trying to understand.
I used to really love the old trailblazers game threads back in the day...talking about what you were snacking on and posting WES!!! NICO!!! etc....now I think a game thread is like a live game...and the people you share the game with are sitting with you....go from there....I just now find I have to change seats to enjoy the game...nothin' personal...it's a change in Blazer game culture that's slowly been smothered with negative affirmations...which to me have no place in a live game....personal choice. I don't want to cheer next to someone bitching about my team all the time so I change seats...pretty simple really...I really loved this summer league. I just log out of the thread mostly these days. I like my smack talk to be aimed at the other team.
