I get it. I feel bad for Dame, and if I was in his shoes Id be pissed too, but why not the same anger at running Iso after Iso for CJ and Melo in the 2nd when they were doing absolutely nothing, why not the anger at NO or Management at least for deciding that a team lacking bodies because of injuries also is not going to use the empty roster spot. The call was crap, and not even the worst in the game, Oneal was out their trying to hurt guys and succeeded once and basically had no repercussions for it. Not even mad at the refs when it seems like the teams management isnt even putting them in the best position to win. Im totally numb to bad officiating, the NBA has the worst officiating of any major sport and its been that way for a while.
April 2nd in Portland! We gotta boo the shit out of Royce O'Neal for his dirty ass leg sweep and Donovan Mitchell for being a little whiny baby because Trent outperformed him. Dame's gonna wreck them in the All-Star game next Sunday though. Both Gobert and Mitchell are on Team Giannis.
oh look...a Utah fan makes an account so he can say stupid shit and trash Dame. I'd say fuck off if it was allowed, but since it's not, I won't
I wouldn't say the ISO stuff should get a pass but in this particular game Dame could've used some help from Melo or CJ. He needs those guys to hit shots and trusts them to do so. How much were they up in the middle of that game? Wasn't it 16 at one point? So yeah, he should complain about a double digit lead in Utah? The man is doing everything humanly possible to will this team to wins and should've been given a chance to do so despite all this crap. The referees are told to call it as goaltending if it was close so it becomes reviewable. The play stopped just seconds later so there was no excuse for them to not want to interrupt a Utah fast break or anything like that. These fucking refs were so arrogant that it "wasn't even close" that they broke protocol. What's the point of reviews if they can't make sure stuff like this doesn't happen at the end of games. It's just like Markieff Morris stepping out of bounds before hitting a game winning 3 in Portland a couple years ago. How is that not reviewable? They literally stop play to look and see if a 3 pointer was behind the line or not, how is this any different? It's the equivalent of a clear fumble being ran back for a touchdown but the ref blowing the play dead so it can't be reviewed. If you've read my posts in other threads I completely agree with you about Olshey and management. I'm pissed about that. Dame shouldn't be thinking about that during a game, nor would after that type of horrendous officiating be the time to bring that up. I really don't get the correlation here, it's a massive stretch.
That wasn't just a NO CALL, my (likely) mormon friend. It was a mistake that cost us the potential to win a game that we need. Objectively it was a highly impactful NO CALL, disgraceful, in fact. That being said, without Whiteside to dominate Gobert, all these little dudes had to hack and swipe to try and stop him on their tippy-toes. And you're right, he got hacked repeatedly; many of them NO CALLS. But blaming a game on a firstsecondthirdfourth quarter, no pressure NO CALL, denies that there is a narrative to games. That's like saying if we had made an extra three freethrows we'd have won, no matter what. And that's just not ever the case. Games develop into a story, into a flow. And the story was Dame Time for the tie and the motherfucking refs fucking fucked fuck fuck fuck!

No, we can't and I get that it is a quote from Lillard but the Blazers asked us to keep the swear words out of the thread titles on the main page. And even though it's a quote from Lillard there would be others that would want to cuss in thread titles and then complain that they can't.
