I believe Batum liked Portland. I also believe he would take the biggest contract offered to him, like pretty much everyone. I also believe he was traded to appease LaMarshmallow, which was a stupid reason. I would have traded LaMarshmallow before Batum, since it was obvious to anyone paying attention that LaMarsh wasn't coming back. As much as I think Batum would be the perfect compliment to this team, it seems like maybe we couldn't afford him anyway. So, yeah, speculation on a speculation board FTW. It's what I do
Sorry, I don't buy this. If we are willing to spend $17M on Turner surely $22M for Nic isn't too expensive. Add in that we were willing to spend $18M on Crabbe (a bench player!) and $10M on Meyers. One Nic is worth more than Turner+Crabbe+Meyers...and when you factor in the difference between $22M and $45M, we'd have been FAR better off had we kept Nic and not signed these other bozos (add another $7M to the cost for uber-bozo Aminu).

Okay, so you all fuckers got it wrong...especially @HCP Given shit to people with low post counts. The post count shouldn't matter. It should be the likes. Like, you cant start a thread until you have a minimum 1000 likes. Anyone can post count pad, but not anyone can rack up the likes. See, yall are ass backwards. lol. This is somewhat good news to me. Unless Vonleh kills it, he isn't our PF of the future. This will give a couple others a shot. If Vonleh comes back and steals their lunch money then more power to him. If not, then it will be because someone else deserved it more. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see Vonleh come back after a few weeks and just wreck things, but this does give others a chance to pass him up if they can.
