Not a real exciting move, but it makes sense. There's no way in hell we can use all these second rounders, so why not use them to make our first rounder count more?
I doubt Chicago would make the deal if it was Blake instead of Bayless. Blake would be a solid first guard off the bench for us.
I don't really think this has anything to do with a potential Hinrich trade, I bet the player drafted at #22 will stay a Blazer. Casspi? googling now to see if he worked out with the Kings.

In 2010, we have our 2nd rounder as well as Chicago's. Since both should be playoff teams, not a very high pick. for those interested (no one?), it does seem like the Kings had interest in Casspi, I'd bet that he's the target.
The big news here is that KP seems to be interested in doing more than trading away the pick (to protect cap space). Why move up just to trade it away?
