Because Iggy is more of an offensive threat than his 10ppg imply. My main point is the the 76ers can spread the floor because they have a lot of guys that specialize at 1 or 2 things offensively. Korver for example shoots the three, AI can get into the paint, etc.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Diesel:</div><div class="quote_post"> Best Kept Secret Jurassic I don't get why you keep mentoining Andre Igouddala as taking pressure off of Webber. He is nothing special offensively. He isn't taking any more pressure off of Webber than Mike James or Charlie V to Bosh. Mike James and Charlie V each take more pressure off of Bosh than Iggy could. The Sixers offense is pretty much Iverson, Webber, and inconsistantly Korver. That's it pretty much.</div> I guess you didn't realize that we started a new thread on this in the NBA basketball forum. It's not hard to find, it'll be the one where you boy Webber is losing 21 to 14 in votes to the more deserving allstar, Chris Bosh .

Even though Bosh might be winning in the poll in the thread you created you see how you can make a case for Webber over Bosh.

Yeah there were a couple Raptor fans supporting Bosh, but most of the neutral people were supporting Bosh. You could make a case for Tyron Lue over Wade if you tried, but people would laugh at you. There is no reason for Philly to have two allstars, and they won't. Bosh might not make it either, but he is more deserving than Webber. Lets please be done with this thread and just post in the other one.

Im done though.
haha. nice debating skills jurassic and BKS . a lot better than mine anyway. back on the topic, i feel that webber's chance to be starting in the eastern conference all star team is slim to none, which means that it most likely wont happen. but there is a possibility that he can come off the bench, which i think he will. webber isnt having the best season of his career by all means, but is doing a good job IMO to get himself a reserve spot at least. just look at the competition for the power forward spot in the east: jermain oneal, who will most likely start, rasheed wallace, who is having a good season, along with webber and bosh who are also having a good season. now, IMO, jermain starts, and rasheed is on the bench, and either webber or bosh are also on the bench, with the loser being injure reserve. but i think the coaches will vote for webber as opposed to bosh, why? because to them, chris can be a better aspect for the team and a more dangerous weapon. now, just before you bash me, let me tell you the reason why. with the surgery he has had on his leg, webber can now bang in the post and is more athletic. webber can also rack up tons of rebounds, like the game where he had 20 or 21. although bosh can do those things too, or maybe better, there one skill that he lacks, and that is the passing skill that webber possesses. now, i know what you all are thinking, passing? wow, big deal right? but for the coaches, that may be just the thing to make webber an all star. why? name me another big that has webber's passing skills along with the good offensive skills and rebounding skills. there is none. with webber's passing, the coaches can have a field day drawing up play after play after play. after all, having a big that can pass the ball well may just tip the advantage to one team. i know, im not a big writer or anything, but i hope i got my point through. webber will be voted in as a reserve along with rasheed, and bosh will be in the IR.
