Stress fracture, perhaps. Ankle spurs? That's more wear and tear than just one early training camp. Knee surgery? Roy had that last year. Shoulder injury? Nah. Blake's hammy? Freak. I'm not too worried about their offseason regimen. If they weren't practicing in Portland, they'd be playing pickup ball in Dallas or L*s Ang*l*s or something.
I'm not sure they deserve praise for working particularly hard, on the one hand, and then to have their injuries dismissed since they would be "playing pickup ball", in any event. Ankle spurs and further knee injuries would seem (to this lay person) to be helped--or at least not aggravated--by rest of the offseason, rather than continual scrimmaging and practice. Ed O.
Was he riding a scooter? Guess not. This sucks but I hope it gives some room to let some of these other guys play.
