Honestly, what does it matter who bats where? Is anybody hitting?

F them and the horses they road in on. I'm seriously on the verge of such an expletive loaded tirade I think I need to go take a walk somewhere.

I understand the roster issues but how to all of these guys suddenly forget to hit? I understand slumps but this is beyond that. How can they be this bad?

. After 50+ games, theOwnership and front office has all the blame. I can't watch this shitanymore. Red Soxsdevelop 5 playerswho are productiveand wedon't even allow for development. Fuck you Cashman.
    ________

Plain to see. Not a pretty sight.

Redsox organization *(pre Dombrowski) has done a great job in drafting and development. They should be very proud of their latest crop of homegrown position players....and of course their highly paid 40 year old Papi is as good as ever..maybe BETTER!
Bradley Jr, Betts and Bogaerts look as if they're on the way to the Hall of Fame, and Shaw also looks like a fine young hitter.

Tough times for Yankee fans but they have options.

    Boycott Yankee Stadium.

    Change the channel.

Form a protest outside of Hal and Cashman's offices.

Switch to another team (no problem for some).

Watch it as it takes its course because even Hal knows the ramifications of the team being non-competitive and an empty stadium.
NO DOUBT ABOUT IT, there soon has to be CHANGES MADE and I expect them to be made.
I'm sure most sane Yankee fans know enough to realize this is out of their control.....now comes the part where the usual suspect calls me a rose colored pinstriped wearing pom pom waving blind homer : I'm just hoping the Yanks DO make changes in time to get moving in the right direction and begin cutting into this seven game deficit.

It's so much easier this way....
Don't have to show everyone how much I "care" by constantly whining. lol

    * staying ahead of the curve. Know what I mean. Lol

This team needs a rebuilding process so they can be competitive for the future. I don't see what changes you think are going to be made so that they can do something this season. It has nothing to do with being a homer. It's just not logical.

...^^^thank you... ya gotta love the double standard.

...and ya gotta love the blanket statement about making enough adjustments to turn this team around this year (ain't gonna happen) and somehow turn them into a legit contender...but no clear plan as to how to go about achieving such a magic turnaround.

On top everything what should be upsetting everyone even more is that this farm system is a complete disgrace.

...Mess, how many times over the last few years have we been told how good the farm is ?...how many prospects have been touted as "the future"?

...they either don't pan out, or end up being wasted in the minors for years because there's nowhere for them to play on the ML team because so many positions are already taken by high dollar FAs....or they are traded away.

...if they really wanna make a change, it has to be a drastic change...this involves reassessing and scrutinizing every management position very closely and either "keep 'em or can 'em"...most would be canned.

I'd like to see what Sanchez could eventually do. The injury certainly came at a bad time. Judge to me is a large goon who is showing no ability to be able to hit. He's batting .220 in the minors and is striking out a ton again. Who knows about Mateo would be a couple of years away anyhow. Overall their farm system is ranked very poorly which doesn't give me much confidence in the future other than writing large checks again for free agents.

...good point on Judge, he strikes out way too often...and to me that's where management and coaching have failed miserably...someone needs to work with Judge on simply making contact...as big as he is, the HRs will come naturally...but there's simply no need for him to try and hit a 500 foot HR every time at bat.

Judge's AAA stats from last year and this year combined.

    424 ABs .224 15 HRs 53 RBIs 131 Ks

Looks like he would fit right in with this current group.

The New York Giants will use him at tight end in a couple of years.
