Belicheck's decision greatly cost them the game there. Horrible clock management on BB's part. NE got screwed big time right there on that spot. If they meet again in the playoffs, it will be absolutely epic.
Was it thaaaat bad a spot? I mean he did bobble it. At best, Faulk was exactly on the line when they could count possession. At worst, he was behind it.
I thought he had it, but I didn't see the bobble. I was watching the feet. Great game by Indy. Manning didn't succumb to the pressure. I'm surprised.
Lol whatever this was one of the most incredible regular season games I've ever seen. Randy Moss was a beast but Manning came back!
I was glad he DIDN'T pick off Brady at the end of the game. Had a feeling it would give them too much time. Great effort from both sides.
Belicheck's getting too much flack for his decision to go for it on 4th, IMO. I would've punted and gone with my D, but I can understand his desire to just take the ball out of Peyton's hands entirely. It's risky, but if he pulls it off everyone's talking about how much faith Belicheck showed in his veteran offense instead of how little faith he showed in his young defense.
At that point in the game, there was no fight. NE dominated that game for a good portion. I was impressed with Indy's comeback. Hopefully for their sake, if they meet up in the playoffs, BB doesn't fuck up his coaching again.
