I have to give you the no-prize for blind loyalty on that one because you know deep in your heart that I'm right. Of course, you failed to grasp that I was defending Javon Walker, who is also a Packer, but I guess he isn't as much of a Packer as Brett Favre, whose poop smells like a cool northern breeze across the frozen tundra to Packer fans.

haha see the only point I was trying to make there is if Brett Favre called a press conference and said Javon you need to be here, then I would agree you but Brett was approached by a question at a softball game and he gave an honest anwer which I can respect. Neither is at fault. I feel really bad for Walker and hopes he gets a deal done in a similar way that Anquan Boldin gets one done. Brett probably shouldn't of said anything but he gave an honest opinion which is why I don't hold it against him for it.

I don't care if it was a softball game or press conference, players shouldn't make comments about other player's contracts. Favre should have enough sense to know that applys to him MORE than any other player on the team because he makes so much more than anyone else and everyone in that locker room knows it. While his teammates know that they don't dare say anything publically, I guarantee you that they have taken notice where Favre's loyalty lies and that's to the front office and not the players. While your at it, Porky, start proof reading your posts. I'm sure you meant to say, "I was around to defend Brett Favre when, the Legend, DolfanDale made an INDISPUTABLE case against him in the Javon Walker case."

I respect you as a poster on the forums but thats a pretty ignorant thing to say, calling yourself a legend. [IMG] Probably the best thing Favre could of done was say nothing. He didn't but I won't hold it against him for telling Javon to make it to camp. Even if Javon would of held out I doubt TT would of gave him a contract. You like FACTS, Heres a couple. TT is very cheap and won't go out of his way to get a player who I agree was very deserving of a contract. The Packers have only re done one contract that had 2 years remaining on it. That was Brett Favre after he won a couple of MVP's. Walker admitts himself that he received no contact from the Packer front office about a new contract. So it's not like they were in intense contract negotiations when Favre said this and they just stopped. Favre might of been out of line but the media took it out of line as well. Walker also went public so that is why I didn't care to much that Favre went public. I had hoped that this could be done behind close doors but thats not the case now adays with the media craving anything they can try to turn to a feud. Hell when you got an agent like Drew Rosenhaus, theres no way it would of stayed behind doors. I've said this over and over that I hope Walker gets his deal next off season but listening to the guy talk. To be perfectaly honest I don't think he wants to be a Packer any more. Green Bay has usually been a cheap organization and you add a cheap genral manager to the problem. Thats not a good result. Much like John York is a cheap guy down in San Francisco I fear that TT might be taking the Pack in that direction. Walker SHOULD GET A NEW DEAL. He ALWAYS SHOULD HAVE but with as cheap as a guy we got in the front office I highly doubt their were any chances of Walker getting a new deal. He would of sat at home did his thing waited for a phone call and would of racked up 100,000$$$'s fines. So in a way Favre saved him money. Much like Mike McKenzie who Green Bay didn't give a new contract to him while they were struggling, I doubt that Walker would of gotten one at this moment like some people might be thinking. I'll play the percentage game! 0% chance that Walker would of gotten a new deal in the off-season or into this season. 100% chance he would of gotten a new deal if he'd came to training camp and played like he did last season. 25% chance that he gets a new deal during this off season and or next season. Thats how I see and saw it. Thats why I defend Favre. Now if there was no doubt that Walker would of gotten a new deal if Favre hadn't said anything. Then yes I would be dissapointed with Brett much like you are.

Some of you guys really need to get a sense of humor. That's why there was so much drama earlier in this thread. Some guys take themselves and this message board too seriously. Don't get me wrong. I'm not asking anyone to change. Reading your posts and watching you get so worked up is one of things that I find so incredibly amusing at this board. It's more fun than a "Suburban Commando/Secret Agent Dad" marathon.

The Packers had better win this game. I'm growing rather fond of my current signature. I'd hate to have to change it. [IMG]
