This WR draft class is dirty good. Nicks, Britt, Harvin, Wallace, Maclin, Pettigrew, Knox, Collie. I wonder if the Eagles will look for a big WR late in next years draft, even though I know Celek is damn good as a TE.
I think with that rushing attack taking all the pressure off, Orton has a lot to work with. I don't think teams plan to defend him obviously which helps. That said, I could still see Pitt and SD taking their divisions. Those will be tight races. Eagles looked pretty damn solid too, props Lost.
Props to your Colts as well hk. Yeah dude, Celek is a beast. Good point on the WR though, we got a lot of guys who can stretch the field, would be nice to get a big red zone target. Hakeem Nicks was somebody I wanted the Eagles to take in the draft, but I never thought Maclin would fall so far.
PItt has a easy schedule, but two of the easy wins coming into the year are already losses so we'll see,. Cleveland next week then Minnesota at home will show how good this team is. Also, Hines Ward is fourth in receiving yards after Week 5. Right behind Steve "NYG" Smith, Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark. How fuck man. Santonio is 14th and Wallace is 35th (2nd highest for a rookie). Miller is also 10th in recivng for TE's but has the most catches for TE's. This passing O is dirty good. Loving it. People rag on this O-Line but it's not that bad. 13 sacks in 5 games sounds bad, but 4 came in the first game. And I can bet Megatron/Master Shake/Duckman's life that the Chargers win the West.
If Westbrook stays healthy and Celek keeps up this play, you won't need that big WR. Hey, want Limas Sweed
Big IF. Westy is like LT now, which is kind of sad. Both have been slowed down due to injuries, I dunno if either will ever be the same. As for Sweed, I'll give ya Curtis and Brown!
Injuries + no offensive line protection = end of the glory days for LT. Someone give me the bottle of Jack.
That's probably true unless they switch him to a starter since he was starting today. I don't know if that's possible or not since I don't play fantasy.
Dallas two losses have been to now 5-0 teams and both of them Dallas mistakes cost them the game and still both came down to the final play in each game. Even today's game which they did win was only close because of two fumbles and a lot of penalties. Those are correctable. So you might be a bit premature to count them out. Hopefully they'll quit making those stupid mistakes. They have two weeks off to heal up some. I'm hoping Roy and Felix Jones will be healthy by our next game. I think this come back win will give Romo and the rest of the team a shot of confidence. GO COWBOYS!!
