As positive as I am about TC that may be a bit premature, however I could see that later in the yr if he plays like many of us think he can, starting is fine but I just want to see him get a consistent 15-20 mintes so he can develop

Yeah, it certainly is a consideration. I mean we have discussed starting Williams to give them more size and toughness, Toumani might be a better option because he can hit the 3 well enough to keep the defense honest. It is still early but regardless if he starts or not I think he is in their 9 man rotation.
Scoot, Ant, Sharpe, Grant, Ayton, Thybulle, Brogdon, Williams, Toumani. The others will get their chance as well with injuries.

Oh definitely, I was being a little facetious, but I think it goes to show Cronin seems to have an eye for acquiring young talent

    Talking of throw ins.

The A's in 1986 needed a shortstop. They offered three promising minor leaguers to the Cubs for Dan Rahn and a throw in.
Rahn never amounted to much. None of the minor leaguers ever made it to the Major Leagues.

    The throw in? Dennis Eckersley.

If Camara is truly Scottie Pippen, we might only need a starting PF to complete the dynasty team

Kobe Brown was drafted in the 1st round this year, and he’s going to be 24 this New Years.

I haven’t watched any preseason at all and have only seen box scores and the occasional clip, so I haven’t had a chance to really see what all the hype is about. Right now, he seems like he could cancel out the Kris Murray mistake (whether or not it was a mistake remains to be seen I guess, I just think there were better options at #23).

I wasn’t a fan of the KM pick. I think he’ll be gone before ever he contributes to this team. But I do think he’ll eventually be a useful player in the L because I think guys that work and play the game right will make it in his position.

I hope I’m wrong, though (about his contributions).

What we have seen from College is that if you give Kris Murray a long enough runway he will lift off eventually. The Blazers have the luxury of giving him that runway in the NBA, so I for one am not too worried about it. Well worth the risk at the #23 pick.

Williams will probably be out a lot, so add another center or big man in parentheses after his name.

Doesn't matter where a player is drafted.
    Especially for the 2023 draft.

Here's a question, is TC better more of a PF of SF? and does it matter much in today's switchable NBA? he seems big enough to play PF and perhaps quick enough at SF. One thing he can do is rebound which we need out of anyone who plays alongside Grant who is allergic to rebounding!

Also have to compare to what the Blazers have at SF now. Thybulle is a bit undersized and has an unorthodox defending style where he blocks shots from behind which can be a problem if he's not staying in front of his man.
Camara does a better job of traditional defense.

I'm not sure he's quick enough to guard all SF's or the SG's he'd have to switch to. But he's probably fast enough to do it some of the time. I like a lot of the things I've seen from Camara, but I do question his speed. BBIQ can make up for some of that, but not all
