Blazers ownership, management, and coaching staff collaborating??

Never. Next we're going to start seeing posters disappearing and reappearing under different names. Now, THAT's collaboration!

Not in Blazer management, not since Patterson started recording interviews because the Oregonian was lying about what had been said.

Now to turn the question back onto you. Is there anything about the paper's hatred for Allen, Whitsitt, Patterson/Nash, the .700 team liquidated becuse of the paper's fury, etc. with which you disagree? Have they ever done anything wrong? Or do you work for them?

I expect to see a lot more of Larry Miller after a big trade is completed, front and center, taking in the glory.

If he's the one that consummates the trade then I hope he does.

He had better remember to give Paul Allen, Bert Kolde, his new assistant GM Cho, and everyone else credit!

That would just be scary if Larry Miller is the one running the phones and coming up with all the good ideas.

    While in Bermuda of course.

good grief dude... your manlove for Bob knows no bounds. The O wanted Portland to draft local white boy Adam Morrison. SP (as the GM and club President) orchestrated a flurry of trades including recent PG of the future Telfair that were hardly greeted by all. Just a wild guess that you didn't like them at the time/thought Trader Bob would have done better?

regardless, you said no one held both positions since your special guy... you stand corrected

No, I said that no one had had the power that some are complaining (with no evidence) that Cho will lack. I said Pritchard had been too incompetent to hold such power, that Cho will hold more because he is more competent, that Whitsitt was the last one with as much power as they think is the norm, and mentioned in passing that he had held both positions officially. The issue was how much power (informally), not how many positions (on the formal organization chart).

Anyone who confuses power with titles is sadly mistaken, so I agree with you. It is also a mistake to confuse leadership and confidence, because in the end I don't think KP was a great leader, but he was very confident.

I hadn't even used up all my cracks about, go to sleep, you have to stand on the corner at 5 am to catch the truck.

I was planning on using that joke at least 50-80 more times.

You said no one held both positions which I pointed out was wrong. Then you claimed Patterson couldn't ignore the O and make up his own mind, which was also BS... In fact I doubt I've ever seen an executive have such open distain for the local media. Now you're just squirming and trying to change the subject

you love Bob Whitsett with about as much rational as my 13 year old niece loves Justin Bieber... but at least she admits it

Actually I've answered you a couple of times without re-reading my post, so I've been guessing at what I said. And I'm not about to scroll way up there and read it now. So I'll let you win, not because I'm wrong, but because I feel generous.

No you deleted. I do not work for a newspaper. Perhaps I should. I'd be able to control the Portland Trailblazers to my liking (sans Bob w of course) a true hero who stood up to mighty newspaper when nobody else could.

I can not wait to start a newspaper tomorrow to control Paul Allen and make him fire Larry Miller and maybe even Richard Cho if he does something to piss me off tomorrow.

If you don't believe I can do it, google "Power of the Press" it is real and it is powerful.

Then I will make banks drive money to my house and Blazer Jerseys. for it is so hot in Los Angeles I will wear tank tops.

In my final act of power of the press (tomorrow) I will make LeBron James demand a trade to Portland....

To play for the Winter Hawks.

It's called power of the press. Look it up.

If Patterson had been run by The Oregonian, he would have had Chicago draft The Stache for us. Also, Sean May and Pooh Jeter would be on the roster.

Now that you have proven beyond doubt that the Oregonian has no influence upon popular opinion, could you please inform them, so that they will stop trying to turn fans against the team?

They seem to disagree with you, since they try so hard, so please convince them, not me. Your rude efforts are misdirected.

I see you've changed the argument. Good choice.

You never said anything about the fans until this last post of yours. If you would have said they tried to turn the fans on the team I would not have ridiculed you.

No, your contention was that The Oregonian made the the actual franchise "The Portland Trail Blazers" make changes. MADE THEM you said. Then referenced "Power of the Press" as proof.

You've now said the only person with enough power to stand up to the mighty Oregonian was Bob... Clearly you were wrong about that as ABM pointed out.

Call me rude, but a spade is a spade is a spade.
