When I was about 21 my parents had a large backyard vegetable garden. Right up against the foundation at the rear of the house I sneaked in a few pot seeds among some of mom's favorite flowers. She discovered them, dug them up and threw them away. She then blamed my 18 year old brother. Just to show you how much character I had, I kept silent and let him take the fall. He protested but even he couldn't believe I would do it so he surmised that it must have been neighbor kids. All of my family, mother, father, brother, have passed away now. I dearly wish I could go back in time and take the blame. Probably would have given my mother a heart attack. My brother would have rolled on the floor laughing at me. A few years later, I grew a pot plant in a flower pot with some potting soil. One Friday night, I decided to uproot it when it was about three inches tall. I put it on a cookie sheet and left it in the oven at a very low temperature for an hour or so until it was dry and crunchy. I crushed it and made a joint out of it. It knocked me on my ass. A bit too strong.
