Sergio's is. Well, his NBA career anyway. I suppose he could still win multiple titles in some third rate European league no one has ever heard of.

Good. For the record, I don't remember it either.

Not necessarily. He could make a triumphant return to the NBA and win the MVP. It isn't literally impossible.

And, fwiw, Sergio is playing pretty well on the best team in the ACB. Averaging about 8pts, and 3 asts (team leader) in 23mpg as the sole PG behind Sergio LLul (if the last few games are any indication, Sergio should start over LLul soon enough). Here are some highlights of him tearing apart Olympiacos:

Well, as we all should know by now, assists don't come easy in Europe, with stingy scorekeepers. In comparison, Ricky Rubio, who is one of the top PGs in the ACB is averaging only 6pts and 6asts in 25mpg, on much more crappy %s than Sergio.

But it still remains, I'd still love to have him back as our backup PG than Armon on Patty (it was nice to see him actually throw Rudy a lob, though).

The Garbajosa trip foul was hilarious.

Good to see Sergio doing well. He looks like he's matured.

Rubio sure isn't looking like a star point guard.... but you just never know in the NBA.

In a 40-minute game, Rubio gets 6 assists starting, and Sergio gets 3 assists (team leader) backing up Llull, with much better percentages than Rubio. And Europe is well-known to be more stingy with assists than the NBA.

You've become accustomed to know-nothings Bayless and Armon Johnson. I see the same Sergio, a guy who is as good as anyone at running a team, just not so good at getting his own points.

If I had never seen Sergio in the NBA, I would have seen that vid and wondered why he isn't in the NBA. But, in the end, it really goes to show how much better teh NBA is than the ACB if a guy like Sergio can look that good over there.
