    You hope they make more adjustments for next game and I did like the defensive activity in the 1st half. But what Kerr and there coaching staff did at half time was made in game adjustments for the 2nd half. They ramp up there defense to trap at half court and someone notice when we trap we left the backside open for easy scores. Head coach can't see everything so up to assistant to find things wrong what we doing and might getting away with at first and correct the problem before it gets notice by the other team.

    Taking a day trip to Cannon Beach with the FAMS Saturday. Be home around 8 or 9. Will record and watch when we get home. Then like normal, will read the game thread after. This place will be a god damn circus as usual I’m sure.

    Yeah, I agree with this. Except maybe that last play he kind of got stuck in no man's land where if he was a little closer to Curry he maybe wouldn't have had as easy of a pass to Green.

    That's nitpicking though. Meyers was really bad in the first half but kept his head in the game and played well in the 2nd half. This loss was not on Meyers or because he was in the game.

    When was the last time Dame wasn't triple teamed on every possession because the Blazers don't know how to take advantage of having three guys focus Lillard?

    IDK, I would have liked to have had Kanter on the court while Stotts was running the Zero Rebounder lineup. Mo Harkless as our center? Okay. Had we gotten even two of those rebounds, we likely win.

    You can't play a guy who is fasting and has no energy. He was in during the Warriors 13-0 run. He helped make it happen

    When your star is being targeted like that, the coach needs to pull out the chalkboard and work up counter plays. Dame seems to have been abandoned.

    I know you mean shot selection, but I'm laughing because shit selection also applies in this case.

    Passing to Harkless - shit.

    Passing to Kanter - shit.

    Passing to Aminu - shit.

    Passing to Turner - shit.

    Shooting contested fadeaways - shit.

    Lots of shit to select here.

    since game 5 against OKC:

    * game 1: 39 points 6 assists
    * game 3: 28 points 8 assists
    * game 4: 28 points 7 assists
    * game 6: 32 points 5 assists
    * game 7: shot like shit but 13 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals
    * last night: 23 points on 16 shots, 10 assists

    he's done all of that against constant doubles, occasional triples, consistent jumps of PnR, traps, hedges, and the steady and intense defensive focus of two different defenses. And all that time he's played steady solid defense

    he's not a Lebron or an MJ; he's just not at that level. Anybody that tries to scapegoat Dame for Portland being in the WCF and being down 2-0 is ignorant about basketball and what one 6'2 player can do

    No one player in the league (outside of Harden and maybe Kawhi) shoulders more of a load on offense than Dame.

    You know who I really missed last night? Aldridge. I was looking at Dame highlights from 2014 earlier and he had so much space to work with. He's so much better now there's no way teams could sell out on him the same way they do these days if Aldridge was in the pick and roll.

    Last night. Only a superstar would get triple teamed.
