He got less than I expected, but I don't see him improving DEN all that much. They are strong at all his strengths already.
Did we have a choice on Freeland? It's not like we were going to be able to trade him for a 2nd round pick? Nobody else wants him either.
That wasn't an option. Freeland's contract is guaranteed, while Hickson required a Q.O. to retain his rights.
Hickson wasn't a good fit. He's not a center and he wanted to start. Lopez might not put up the gaudy numbers next season, but he'll make a huge difference where it counts.... size and defense. I liked what Hickson did for us, and I think he definitely helped win us some games, but with Robinson and Lopez coming in, there wasn't any room for him.
Claver and Matthews could have subbed at SF, opening a PF spot instead of signing Dorell. Even with Wright, we still have 14 players. Hickson gives you more than $5M per year. Karl's system will make him look great, except, where's Karl?
Good for JJ! But I don't get why Denver signed him, when they have Faried and Darrell Arthur already.
Well duh, you must be new here. But I sure did increase my post count in the middle of the night. You have to admire my work ethic.
